Food itself is still very good. We were here 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. Good service, lots of locals. The menu is written on a chalkboard inside. What disappointed us this time was the lack of attention. We couldn't get the person's attention...More

This place was recommended to us by a local, and we're so glad we tried it. Small and tucked away, this restaurant could be easy to miss, but it honestly was one of the best meals I've ever eaten - I had the Pasta Putanesca,...More

Against the opinion of some previous writers, we found the service to be excellent (thanks, Frederica). One could easily sense that the whole team put their hearts into what they were doing. Also the food was delicious. As todays menu had nothing that appealed to...More

Not bad but nothing special. One waitress for whole restaurant. All dishes are like homemade but not very delicious. No coffee no tea (they have no space for coffee mashine).

Highly recommend! This place had actual authentic Italian food, something that's hard to find in Venice where there's tons of tourist traps. Pesto ravioli was so delicious! Don't go to those restaurants that have the tourist menus, instead find a hidden gem like this one...More

Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri

one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime
neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side
streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals
