Really nice restaurant near Rialto bridge. It’s pretty well represented for fish, less for meat. That said the rustled up a carbonara off the menu pronto. Very nice ambience and food. Not sure how the negative reviews have happened, since the staff couldn’t be nicer.

Al Paradiso is a wonderful restaurant. It is located a few streets away from the Rialto Bridge. The restaurant is small and intimate. We visited Venice the last week in January and dined at Al Paradiso twice during our stay. The food is terrific and...More

Ate here with my mom and it wasn't the best experience. The staff really couldn't be bothered that we were there, more interested in visiting and I could've made a more tasty pasta than I had. It was quite greasy as well. It was also...More

Decent helpings of pretty good food. Friendly unobtrusive guys serving. In a town full of rip off artists, this was a breath of fresh air.

As with everywhere there are good and bad places. This was definitely in the good/exceptional category. Food was of a great quality; clearly freshly cooked to order. Customer service was welcoming, friendly and impeccable. I hope they continue this into the busy season. Highly recommend.

We stopped for a quick bite and to warm up after a chilly tour of Venice. We ordered 6 drinks - although my husband never received his beer. When our daughter asked for a hot chocolate, the waiter scoffed at her and told her he...More

We came to visit Venice and explore the traditional food and atmosphere. I noticed this lovely quiet street where Al Paradiso was located and really wanted to come in - the decor, music and atmosphere is so cozy and so traditional. We ordered a bottle...More

The restaurant's location and setting is really good, and the food is okay. But there is an extra charge of 3 euros per person. The owner seem to prefer older clients since he gives them all the attention, but the millennial us were treated horribly....More

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six
sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest
neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
