We ate here because we were too tired to look around and it had a nice view of the water but the waiter insulted us for our small and simple order of soup and salad. There was only one other table occupied, so it was...More

An authentic Venetian diner. Affordable priced. Excellent food, friendly staff. Venetians are waiting patiently for a free table. That should give you a clue on how great they are!

During our recent trip to southern Europe, we made a quick culinary stop in Venice because I had the best food in Venice on my previous trip. My expectations were high. This restaurant was recommended by another restaurant which we tried to go to but...More

I was hoping to get a mind blowing italian pasta dish and got something completely opposite. The food had barely any flavor. It was something I could cook for myself at home and yet it cost me 15 euros. The only positive thing was the...More

We have been first time 10 years ago. That was our first meal in Venice and in Italy. Location and views around are perfect to increase impressions on arrival in Venice. The food is good - like 10 years ago. Service also hospital.

After not being able to go to Il Paradiso Perduto because they were closed for holiday and not getting a table fast enough at Ponini across the canal, we were seated right away here at Trattoria Da Bepi. I was fading and needed to eat,...More

Great dinner with family. Several pastas tried, but cuttlefish and ravioli were standouts. Ravioli pasta was made with potato, which made it thick and chewy. Great service once they warmed up to our large, loud group.

We were in the mood for lasagne, and therefore thought it wouldn't matter where we went! So we popped in, after checking lasagne was on the menu. The waiter ushered us in, offering us a canal-side seat for 2. We ordered drinks first then picked...More

This trattoria was down the street from our hotel. It seemed rather busy most of the time we walked by. Great pasta dishes, although sometimes a little too much olive oil. The scallop appetizers was expensive for 3 tiny scallops but very delicious. Nice setting...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

You should ask the people working at the trattoria. Not the reviewer. 😊
