Nice presentation, excellent quality. My fish was perfectly tender and lightly seasoned. The surprise ending of limoncello rounded out our meal. While the service was good, I wouldn't rate it excellent (perhaps because we weren't having a full, multi-course meal?) in terms of attentiveness.

We were stumbling through Venice on a Friday night for over 40 minutes trying to find a restaurant with an available table (with 2 small kids in tow!) when we finally found Osteria Ae Sconte. The setting was very nice and we ate outside. We...More

The ambience & service has been brilliant. We’ve had a really nice bottle of wine, 3 courses, and the bill isn’t bad, 190 EU It’s unpretentious and out of the way. We loved the staffs sense of humour. We had 50:50 fish & meat. Both...More

Finding this restaurant is quite difficult but worth the effort. It caters for Italians and tourists and serves lovely unpretentious but good quality Italian food. I had a melon and prosciutto starter that was sweet and fresh, and huge. My other half had the fish...More

Nice little restaurant, a little hard to find. The food was very good, we orderd the vegetables soup and the cream cheese gnocchi but was a bit expansive (14€ for the soup). The service was nice but they charge on the bread they gave us...More

The restaurant was actually very close to our apartment but hidden in a little square. Well worth tracking it down though, the meal was excellent and reasonably priced in a city full of tourist traps. Especially good was the gnocchi in a creamy cheese sauce....More

We enjoyed the seafood risotto. It was a decent sized portion (and we’re from the United States!) and it was of good quality. While it was good, I can say that we have had better seafood risotto. What made the restaurant stand out was the...More

Came across this place by accident when looking for another restaurant. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of prosecco. Our meals were delicious and freshly cooked. A complimentary flask of limoncello was put on our table at the end of the meal. The service...More

While admittedly the food was pretty good, like others, the experience was tainted by a money hungry staff. It seems like service is dependent on how many courses you order and perhaps other unknown factors. For example, the free drinks and lemencello was not provided...More

We did not book and ate around 7:30, but that was on a Monday night. People constantly streamed in, so a reservation would be a good idea. It certainly doesn't hurt to have it!

I would say on the high end of the dining spectrum for a European city. 30 euro entrees if that helps and well worth the money!
