I visited this restaurant a couple of times during my stay in Venice. The food was amazing, especially the seafood! Staff were really friendly and made some great wine recommendations. My favourite restaurant in Venice!

We had our late lunch here, the lobster pasta was fresh and delicious! Fried seafood mix was nice, service was OK. It's not amazing or memorable but it's not a bad place to eat.

We ate here yesterday evening on recommendation of our hotel. Easy to find, very pleasant staff, but the place has no atmosphere at all, strange music being piped through the speakers and an odd internal layout means that the place is split in 3, with the rear third away from the rest and gets, well left out! The food though... More

Very taste food with a nice plate construction. It is located on a very reserved area, between Rialto and San Mark square.

This restaurant is very central, but tucked away in a little square so it feel secluded. Like most Italian restaurants, there is a cover, but here you get champagne included. I had a cheesy gnocchi and my husband had a seafood pasta. We were both happy with the meal.

Had a very enjoyable dinner here. A simple one course dish of linguine with crab and lobster. Definitely the best pasta dish I had during my stay in Venice and certainly the friendliest service in a restaurant during our visit.

I visited this place for lunch according to trip advisor comments. A wide menu esp seafood and wine. It was about 1 pm and the place was not crowded. But the staff looked busy and they were not really helpful. Service was fast, i really liked my Mediterranean pasta. Prices are a little higher than average.

The restaurant is well placed quite close to major attractions, yet off the big crowds and their tourist traps. We discovered it "by mistake" looking on the TripAdvisor app for a 4+ points restaurant for lunch. Me and my wife we had pasta with seafood (delicious!) and my daughter wanted a pizza (tasty, made of simple and fresh ingredients but... More

With my family we went for dinner at Ae Sconte. Seefood, spaghetti allo scoglio, Nero di seppia were all excellent. A little pricy, but worth it.

Thank Alessandro B

Staying in Castello

Neighbourhood Profile
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
