Food was good but the service was even better. It’s a family restaurant and the pride and care shows. Special attention given to all the kids. Patience and conversation was fantastic.

We ate here 3 times during our stay in Venice, twice for dinner and once for lunch Considering how close it is to San Marco square it is reasonably priced and good value for money. The waiters were attentive and helpful and the food was...delicious. The ravioli was fabulous, homemade and perfectly cooked. We loved this restaurant and feel it definitely deserves a 5 star review!More

We were here two times during our holiday in Venice and we loved it. The place is really cosy, and Fabio is a wonderful person. The food is delicious! We had pizza, calamari and Tagliata di manzo...all were so delicious. And Fabio recommended a very...good wine. We loved it! Surely a place to try!More

Even though it is so close to San Marco's and is surrounded by other touristy restaurants, Al Chianti is reasonably priced and offers delicious food. We had lunch there twice during a four-day stay in Venice in October. The starter dishes are very generous. The...pasta and fish dishes are amazing...They could offer us gluten-free pasta as well. Highly recommend!More

We got the cheese pizza, fettuccini Alfredo, gnocchi and spaghetti bolognese. Homemade noodles and gnocchi. By far the best food we have ever had!

Right next to our hotel which we have been passing regularly and decided to eat here after seeing a good deal on their menu for dinner. Nice seating inside and outside. Service fantastic, very friendly staff, offered to switch one of the options on their...specials menu for me which was nice. Good food and large portions! All in all, lovely place for lunch or dinner, particularly their service!More

As this restaurant was very close to our hotel we called for a quick lunch when we arrived. We were so impressed that we returned for a dinner later in the trip. Lovely place to eat. Staff were welcoming and a great variety of dishes...available on the menu. Very reasonably priced. Only down side was that we too full after a main course to manage dessert!More

Just 2 minutes from the Square and a minute from out Hotel, an excellent restaurant with friendly staff and with top quality pasta and pizza, it wasn't as busy as it deserved to be but once everything settles down it is recommended to come here...rather than eat in the squareMore
