Quite basic, pasta dishes were quite disappointing and not too generous, starters and fish lasagna tasty but again not impressive, tiramisu very basic. House red wine totally tasteless. Overall a 105€ dinner for three that didn’t stand up to the ratings. Service was nice and...fast but…More

Overall, the food is adequate, as is the service. From start to finish our meal took 1.5hours for a starter and main. The pizzas are average with plenty of room for improvement with regards quality of tomatoes and mozzarella.

I would highly recommend Da Mamo if you are looking for a nice restaurant that is reasonably priced in Venice. We were seated promptly upon arrival and the wait staff was very accommodating. We ordered a variety of dishes on the menu which all were...very tasty.More

Service with a smile. Decent food and good value for money. We enjoyed our pizzas here. They are not the “best” pizzas for sure but they were well made and tasted good. The restaurant had some good wine on the menu too and when one...of our party did not enjoy his glass, the waiter was quick to offer a solution and everyone was happy. The restaurant itself was quite busy and packed but service was still quick, and the vibe inside was nice - and you can still hear people next to you speaking which is good! They do cram the tables together (note I went before covid became an issue) so there is a strong chance job will be very close to others if the restaurant maintains a similar set up in future.More

Yes salad wasn’t dressed but the tools to do it yourself were there. Omg the seafood fresh spaghetti was immense with flavour, also Pizza toro - just perfect, you will enjoy !

We went to the restaurant for dinner today. The salad that was served wasn't even dressed. Neither vinegar nor salt and pepper. The oil was placed next to the salad in plastic packaging. Looked like a ready-made salad from the supermarket that we had to...make ourselves and that for ten euros plus VAT. The fish platter for 20 € consisted of three scampi and some fish, which was also not seasoned. All in all cruel and that for 50 €. And then we were told that 12% VAT is not included in the price. Avoid this restaurant. And just don't go in. Never again!More

Dear Dirk we are very surprised for the tone and the reasons of your negative comment. Oil vinegar and salt have to be served following the COVID rules and the salad do not come from supermarket!!! means that you are arguing without any sense. If...More

Ate here our last night, had passed by it a few times and gave it a try. Pleasant surprise, lots of locals, good prices and family owned. Service was good, food very good and busy. Small place, but the tables turn over quickly and not...a long wait. Lot of locals eating here which says a lot. Not really a place to linger longer but recommend it. Nice place, good food and friendly.More

Nice little pizza restaurant in Venice. Pizzas were great, staff very friendly. Not the cheapest place but far from the most expensive. Be sure to book to avoid disappointment.
