Had a few drinks and a meal here. The beer and wine selections are good, the food is nice in the restaurant upstairs. But a nice place to have a quiet meal. Bit pricey for what it is but would recommend.

Make a booking a get a table outside facing the Grand Canal and enjoy watching the sunset as you dine. The beef fillet was definitely a standout, cooked to perfection and one of the best steaks had in Italy.

This is a very small restaurant across the Rialto bridge from the main part of Venice. The dishes are simple but well prepared and the wine list has a few hidden gems. Although a reservation is not required, it’s still a good idea.

We came a few friends for a small lunch, just off the Rialto bridge. We each had 3 cicchetti and a coffee and it was reasonably priced. The service was OK and the toilet was clean.

In a city apparently full of identical osterias, this place stands out. Not only has it a great location, alongside the Grand Canal on the market side of the Rialto, but it also has really good food and super-friendly service. The first place I would...More

If this is not the best then I don't know which would be. We tried Michelin star and local places, this one has my heart tho... Everything is right, service is 5 star and more, waiters are polite, speak many languages, and are very attentive....More

Having stumbled on this after rejecting another Restaurant which we had booked (oops! - it was empty and had loud music), we were more than pleasantly surprised by being shown an outside table, in a completely full terrace next to the Canal. The Menu was...More

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six
sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest
neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
