A great place with excellent service and food. Perfect location next to canal. It was a chilly evening so we took a great table next to entrance so we had the benefit of being ‘inside’ with excellent over table outside heating. Friendly fun staff coupled...with excellent food made for a great evening. Highly recommended.More

Finding this place was great. A table by the canal with a bright moon above - a great start. The service was good and friendly - the food and wine really good. A selection of starters combining a lot of flavours before I had a...pasta with seafood dish and my wife "Catch of the day". A bit pricy, but we were both very satisfied with our experiece.More

I have been there with my wife and daughter. The food was very simple and without tasty. Mix of seafood was terrible, very fat (oily) The only positive is the locations/ view.

Two Events: One went very well. The second was low performance, meaning we were not served, despite minimum customer load and plenty of servers. (Even tried to get attention).

This was the most delicious meal we’ve had all of our trip in Venice! They even brought me gluten free bread because I’m Celiac. I definitely recommend coming here. It’s a great location and not super touristy like the other spots along the canal. The...tartare was amazing - must try.More

Good place with wounderfull view. Crowded, but with nice staff members and good design. Food was avarage (You can find better seafood in Venice), grilled sea creatures was too salty, but pasta was slightly uncooked. But the atmosphere is reason, why people choose this place....Friendly manager - we had reservation no 21:15, but when we came, our seats was still taken.. (previous costumers started to eat at 18:00, but stayed much longer after finishing their dishes..because atmisphere was excellent).. manager give us table in different place, and brought us local Prosecco as gift.More

Very nice restaurant with view on Canale Grande. Dinner was amazing, romantic and the staff super gentle and friendly. That night was windy but the staff moved us inside promptly. Food is good. Recommended

Our hotel concierge recommended La Porta D’Acquq for a romantic anniversary dinner. They reserved an outdoor table with a perfect view of the canals and people walking by. We were warmly greeted and assisted with wine and dinner selections. We shared a burrata, prosciutto and...olive appetizer, skipped pasta and splurged with the red snapper for 2. Our waiter was a rockstar, deboning and serving the fish. It was divine. We enjoyed a delicious red blend wine with cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot. We finished our meal with a lovely digestif drink. Directly across from the restaurant is a gondola stand. It’s not directly related to the restaurant but going straight from dinner into a starlit gondola is exquisitely romantic.More

When you land, go to the baggage claim area. There will be a desk to buy passes for either the Water Taxi's or Busses that will take you out of the airport. Very easy. Ask your hotel in advance what the exit is for both the... More
