We had a lunch with our familly on the terrace. It was our first restaurant in venise and we didn t noticed how much it was great compare to what you can find for the same amount of money. The waiters are very nice. And famillies welcomed. I recommand!

The best meal we ate during our 10 day tour thru Italy. Pasta was handmade, salads super fresh, bread crusty and warm. We ate at the outdoor tables with canal views. It was a magical dining experience

I went for lunch, this restaurant was recommended by some friends I had lunch with. I ordered the strozzapreti allo scoglio (pasta strozzapreti with seafood). It was very good, tasteful pasta and fresh seafood. Not too pricy as well and a reasonable size portion.

This place was just outside our front door. One night we showed up just before 11, their kitchen closes at 11 but they sat us anyway. It was a beautiful and warm night, sitting outside so late with no need for a jacket or sweater felt surreal. I had the duck ravioli (delicious) and my husband had spaghetti carbonara. He... More

We shared the scampi risotto as it was for a minimum of two people. It was delicious and a decent portion. They have a good sized menu with plenty of choice.

Stumbled upon this place right in front of our airbnb and it is great! Very quaint and quiet, food is delicious. Had the bruschetta, gnocchi and risotto. Also, the server recommended the tiramisu and was phenomenal! Highly recommend visiting this place in Venice! Not in a touristy area, tucked away next to a canal.

The restaurants ambiance was demure yet elegant. The staff was very pleasant. Everything we ordered on the menu was delectable. The octopus salad aperitif was especially delicious. If you are in San Polo you must visit this restaurant.

Again recommended by the apartment welcome girl who was 100% right on all her tips. Restaurant very warm and welcoming on a stormy evening. Staff friendly and helpful and food was excellent. We shared a melanzane parmigiano as a starter that was so good that my wife considered changing her main course to having the same again ! We stuck... More

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
