Dining in venice is very expensive so this place was our place to eat. For us normal prices, big and tasty pizza. You can sit on street near canal and eat your pizza. If you are on budget or you want a quick bite this is the place in Venice.

Cheap and extremely good pizza - huge portions and practically no waiting time! Very happy we stopped here for our first dinner in Venice.

It's average pizza. Not good, not bad. It is quick and cheap so if that fits your circumstances then go for it. But don't come expecting to be blown away by amazing pizza.

Average pizza for a good price. Nice to grab a quick slice and continue wandering Venice. Ordering a whole pizza seemed like the best way to go to guarantee freshness.

My husband and I stopped in at pizza 2000 for a quick lunch. For six euros, we each got a huge slice of pepperoni pizza and a beer. The pizza was absolutely delicious and we even went back for more! A great spot to visit in Venice.

Fastfood place offering pizza slices for little money. While their pizzas look decidedly average with miserly toppings, they are baked correctly and undeniably tasty.

Stopped here for for some pizza on the first day in Venice after we read the good reviews on TripAdvisor. It was after the lunch hour when we ate; we were totally disappointed. Not much of a variety at the time we ate and the pizza we had was mediocre and well below the quality of the pizza that we... More

Went to try on the basis of the reviews and found it only average at best. A bit tasteless, honestly and better pizza to be had out there in Venice.

Simply the best pizza in Venice! The pizza is thin and crispy with plenty of flavour. For only 2 Euros per slice if you don't feel like eating a full pizza, this place also offers great value for money. The only downside of this place is that it can be quite difficult to find as it is not in the... More

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
