We took the bost from outside our hotel across to the restaurant which is attached to the Hilton hotel. It is small, 30 covers, and is decorated like a cafe with a deli counter at the front. The head waiter had our booking and showed...us to our table. We had had the obligatory bread as our starter and chose a prosecco which was good. We selected the specials: lamb stew, potatoes and grilled vegetables which tasted amazing, and the seafood lasagne which was good but not great. No dessert as we wanted to head up to the roof bar of the hotel for cocktails. Worth a trip across from Zattere for the evening.More

We visited on 25th August 2019 while staying at the Hilton. In summary, the restaurant is simple, well price with good food. We also experienced excellent service. We booked directly on the Fork app, I’d definitely recommend booking as we saw people being turned away....For a starter we had the shared antipasti. It was huge, plenty for three or four people. For mains, my partner had the special of the day, a lasagna which was good - good but nothing to write home about. She did mention the pasta was fresh and very tasty. I had the T-bone stake (medium rare). It was outstanding, a good cut which was perfectly cooked. It was massive (probably 700 - 800G) so i struggled to finish it. The side of grilled aubergine wasn’t a good paring if I’m honest! Grilled tomato or even some rocket would be better. For desert, we shared the pavlova. It was brilliant, just right! We both really enjoyed it. Wine selection was small but what we did get was brilliant. The service throughout was excellent, the waitress spoke perfect English and deserves special recognition. If your staying at the Hilton and don’t want to waterbus over to the main islands, I’d definitely recommend this place for an evening.More

We visited Bacaromi during our stay in Venice and had mixed feelings. Whilst the food was undoubtedly incredible, the management of the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. It is worth noting from the outset that the cover charge is £5 per person, however...the first you will know of this is when your bill arrives. When we arrived, there was a large table of guests with incredibly badly behaved children. The parents were shouting across the restaurant to each other and the kids were running-riot and bumping into other guest’s chairs. Despite having a reservation, we were unsure if we actually wanted to dine here. Whilst the food was lovely, the restaurant staff made no attempt to control the unruly guests who were making the whole experience unenjoyable for the remaining tables. For a restaurant expecting to charge these prices, there should’ve been proper management of this situation. There were several other guests who felt distinctly uncomfortable with the experience.More

Great food and fabulous service. Best of all is the view across the Giudecca Canal at sunset. Typical hotel pricing.

We had a table closest to the water and it was a lovely evening and the food was delicious. My husband and I were celebrating our daughter and son in law's 14 wedding anniversary and the F&B manager Giuseppe Pozzuoli did everything to make it...the special evening we wanted. We stayed at the Hilton Molino Stucky for our one night pre cruise and the Bacaromi turned out to be a fabulous experience. We were away from the crowds in the center of Venice and could 'look at the city' and enjoy it in a beautiful setting. Our service was superb and every dish was 'right on!"More

Where to begin... my partner and I ordered the cheese ravioli which was apparently home made. The presentation and service was average however the taste was extremely disappointing.. 24 euros per dish and to be honest our plane food tasted more fresh. As we took...the first bite of our food we could hear in the background a microwave beeping. Don’t expect this from a restaurant in a 5 star hotel. We both had one bite and it was safe to say it was horrible. The Waitress simply took it away without asking us how the food was, which you’d normally expect considering we had left most of it. We move on to the 14 Euro “homemade” tiramisu.... it was dry, bland and the cream was tough... tasted like bread...Nasty. By the end of the meal we simply got the bill and left. The waitress took no notice to the fact that our main and dessert was hardly touched. Would not recommend this place for your stay in Venice.More

Try going through the Hilton Molino Stucky website. They have a contact e-mail address that I used prior to our trip. You actually should not have a problem procuring a table at such an early hour. Most people in Italy dine... More
