What a fab evening! If I would only live closer to Venice… We ate à la carte….from the “kitchen’s greetings” to the sea antipasti (which was a lotttt), spicy spaghetti with raw scampi to the turbot with crunchy spinach…the food was outstanding. (And we are...not amateurs here). Nice, friendly waiters and a rustic but cosy interior rounded up our evening. The wine menu has everything relevant from mostly Italy (fab: Lugana Riserva 2018, Zenato) To sum it up: Perfect birthday eve with friends and one of my top 3 restaurants ever! Thank you for the warm welcome and awesome service throughout the evening! We will be back!More

The best dining experience I have ever had! Would highly recommend the tasting menu. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. Service was impeccable and attention was paid to every detail. Ambience was uniquely Venetian (sat by the window and watched gondolas pass by). Highly recommend...this restaurant if you are in Venice.More

My best dining experience I ever made in Venezia, so far my best 2020 restaurant experience, extremely high appreciation to the service! I have decided for a 6 course tasting menu and at the beginning asked if I can alternatively change the desert to a...cheese plate (that I will pay the price difference). Response was that "of course, yes" and "do not worry about the price". What a good start! I also decided to use the wine pairing and I also asked if for a desert I could have an alternative to a sweet wine usually served to deserts "yes, of course" (usually I am afraid to choose wine pairing because then mostly I drink (sub)average wines, this time however and I was more than satisfied). I am not a difficult guest but I was sitting at the place where I felt the aircon fan rather more than conveniently - I have asked if I could change the seat and they just simply turned off the aircon fan above my table. Great! All the wines were served and presented in a perfect way, always showing the bottle and describing the wine (in contrary to Da Fiore experience the next day). Tasting my 2nd or 3rd wine I rather hesitated because the wine was slightly "tired" - the sommelier immediately opened a new bottle and offered a new glass (then tasted the previous saying I was right). What a great service! And everything with a smile! Menu: I will not describe each course. In general "very very good", some courses even really delicious and innovative. I am sure that the chef is highly talented and can reach his first Michelin star very soon (just if not making his life easier by presenting fried fish - two courses were actually fried fish which was certainly a pity - especially the main course should be different). But I do not wish to finish with any negative touch. My general experience was absolutely superb and especially I appreciated highly professional and friendly service. As written above - EXCELLENT experience!More

We ate here twice during our stay at the hotel Ai Reali where the restaurant is situated. On the first occasion we opted for the Tasting menu accompanied by the wine pairing. Both were wonderful, giving us the opportunity to try dishes and wines we...might not have tried before. Service was excellent - the sommelier in particular made the evening very enjoyable with his descriptions and explanations of the wines we were drinking, ( and was very patient when we wanted to take photos of the labels!) The food was superb - beautifully presented with great flavours. Later in the week we chose from the a la carte menu, and again the food was fantastic.More

Didn't get really creative there, did we? Alle Corone was simply amazing. It doesn't do the same kind of innovation as many Michelin star restaurants do, but it does everything else perfectly. And we really do mean perfectly. The service was practically impeccable. Professional, friendly...and formal on the right level. Maybe a bit less formality would be even nicer, but this is a very subjective question, so don't even take it as a negative. Especially since the formality matches the elegance of the place. The restaurant is part of a nice hotel, - which is luckily not in a very frequented area of Venice -, with white cloth covered tables spread out comfortably. What made the evening even more magical was the live piano music playing just from a few rooms away. Perfect volume and beautiful melodies for a romantic and amazing dinner. And that leaves us with the food... Wow. Simply amazing. Creative and incredibly high quality dishes with really fair portion sizes. We were very impressed that in such a fine restaurant, and having selected the a la carte option, the portion sizes made us full and incredibly happy by the end of the experience. Thank you for not doing the classic droplets of quantity as it is sometimes normal in places like this! Here, a very special mention goes to the scallops carpaccio and the shrimps prepared with lard starters. Holy (choose your deity), it was beyond all expectations. We were very impressed! And to top off the review: yes, of course it is a fine dining experience, so the prices will be higher. But still! We actually found the prices quite reasonable for what we got. So it is a fine dining experience that is definitely in reach for many more people than compared to some other places around the world. As such, congratulations to everyone at Alle Corone (especially the chefs)! Keep up the great work. Highly recommended!More

We stayed at the Ai Reali and were having the most pleasant experience until we decided to have dinner at the Alle Corone. It was raining heavily and our daughter was on a wheel chair. It would be very difficult to walk with her in...the rain - especially because she could not wet her leg cast. So we decided to go downstairs and check if it would be possible to have dinner at the hotel restaurant or even, to have it served in our room. And there started our worst experience in our 25 days trip through Italy. The maître, instead of just saying that he was sorry but they were fully booked, stared yelling at us because we did not have a reservation. We are civilized people, able to understand if a restaurant is overbooked. As we decided to leave and not listen to his impolite grumbling, we thanked him and started to push our daughter’s wheelchair away. He, then, started screaming at us “If you want go, go!”. I can’t even describe how we felt. We were just shocked and did not know what to tell our kids! We stopped at the hotel front desk to say how disappointed we were with the treatment that we had just received and were even more astonished when this so called maître left the restaurant and came to the front desk e stared screaming that he did not tell us anything. A brief look at the cameras will show that he was the only unsettled person that evening. In a mix of disappointment , fear and sadness (was he just a racist?), we went back to our room and got dressed to take our children out for dinner. The sole action of an unprepared and unskilled maître ruined our stay at the Ai Reali. The only thing we wanted was to leave the place. Don’t even think we were the impolite people, we even got cookies and a farewell card from the exceptional staff that works during breakfast. Sad experience that defiled our Ai Reali experience... To Mr. Sven Kornnemann, from HPH Group: we kindly suggest to review the Ai Reali Welcome letter. We believed in your recommendation.More
