Ate here while in Verona and loved it. Located a bit off the beaten track this non touristy restaurant serves great food. My husband and I both had steak. I needed mine a bit more well done which was no problem for the staff. Desserts here are fantastic and so fresh. Would eat here again if in Verona.

Authentic decor, old fashioned service and good quality food. Real Italian away from the tourist strip. Local wines too. Try the pate for starters and meat or cheese pasta for mains.

I went with some friend of mine to have dinner, and we ate pasta. It was delicious, and they have many local type of dishes!

Very good restaurant not far from Verona arena. Atmpshere is very romantic and it's full of locals eating so I guess it has to be a good place to eat. Great food and service. Salumi and Polenta are delicious but also pasta. I had a ravioli with spinach which were incredible.

This out-of-the way place is worth searching for. Ugo has a traditional Veronese menu in a charming setting. On a warm night the expansive outdoor patio is the place to be. The baccala' mantecato con crostini (Purèe of Dried Cod Fish and Toast) was an interesting tasty appetizer, the tortellini were delicious, and the sbrisolana (a local crunchy tart) made... More

We spent New Years Eve at da Ugo which was recommended by out local host. The special 5 course diner either fish or meat was put together various local specialties. We totally enjoyed the beautiful diner and the setting, drinking a nice big magnum bottle of Ripasso so while listening to 80's music.
