There is nothing special about this place. We went there on a guide's recommendation, because it has been promoted in travel magazine articles and because we wanted to try the bucatini con le sarde which was ordinary. The large prawns were very tasty according to my wife. Dinner for 4 was about 150 euros including 8 plates and 2 bottles... More

Solid traditional Sicilian food that is well priced. The house nero d'avola is very good. I tried the eggplant ravioli and a mixed salad and I was very pleased. The staff was cordial, warm and attentive. The atmosphere is cordial and the location perfect. The walls are adorned with beautiful original paintings. Complimenti

Location is great and eating outside in the piazza was wonderful. The food was good, The staff was ok. Not sure if it was due to the fact that we did not order 3 courses staff seemed to not be bothered with us and not very attentive, food down no enjoy or conversation , take away plates when we were... This unassuming restaurant has a outdoor area, covered by canvas roofs, in the Piazza Marina. It's reasonably priced, and the baked sea bream I ordered was wonderful. It had an unusual stuffing of fresh green beans and cheese, which did not overwhelm the delicate fish. It was beautifully presented. Service was a little slow, since my waiter appeared to be... A very good meal sitting out on their terrace. We started with the 3 dish antipasti de Sicilia which was excellent, I had the ravioli half moon shell and my wife the tuna fish. It was all excellent as was the house red wine in a carafe. Highly recommended.

Much recommended but a bit of a disappointment. Lovely location in Piazza Marina right off Corso Vittorio Emmanuele and so eating outside is recommended. Nice wait staff. Spaghettini ale vongole were good, not great. Good reviews on the half on pasta with eggplant. Bronzino and orata both got decent, not outstanding reviews. Lamb made in a Nero d'avola sauce was... We had a nice meal in La Cambusa. The pasta was very good, and the service equally so. It is in Piazza Marina, but a bit more private. Probably one of your better picks in the area. Recommend it!

Delicious seabass (Branzino) baked within thin potato crust. My partner had the rolled , swordfish with a local touch of spices, which I tasted. Excellent white wine. Service was friendly and fast. We were sitting in this car free square in the warm late september air, it was really perfect. And all for a charming price.
