Everything in Sicily taste better! just put the word italian infront of anything and it's just better. This is also true when it comes to "Italian" Don Gelato,, their ice creams are divine, not to sweet, rich in flavour and perfect creaminess. The facilities are very clean and fresh with a cool trendy look. Only thing I can think of... More

We stopped by and tried this favorite dessert. My strawberry gelato was the best and the fresh squeezed orange juice was tasty as well. Nice, clean and comfortable.

I had an iceacream there in March and it was allright but I expected more from an Italian place. It tastes rather like chemical flavours than fruit. The options are also rather just a few (6 pr 8 flavours) which is weird for a place that deals only with iceacream products. It s rather a meeting place for Italian teenies... More

I really like this place. Delicious Cannoli and Ice cream among other typical Sicilian sweets. You can eat in or take away and there's free wifi! Friendly and attentive staff, give this place a go.

This is trendy ice cream shop on via Maqueda. We were there on November evening, so not perfect setting for an ice cream. But it looked inviting so we opted for small cups. Taste was exceptional, I would doubt they are natural. Anyway, we enjoyed our ice cream and were bitterly disappointed that the bottom of the cup is convex.... More

I have been walking through one of the main roads in downtown when I come across Don Gelato. At first sight I thought this was the usual junk food place for budget tourists and couldn't be more wrong than that! In a nutshell I had "gelato" twice and so my wife and we were absolutely delighted. They put a counter there as... More

We stopped in here today and were pleasantly surprised with the pricing, the flavors and the cleanliness of the place. My friend had anguria which was very good and I had fior di latte. We will definitely be back if we have the time!

Great and accessible cafe which will feel familiar to tourists as a Commercial coffee bar. Lovely cakes (I recommend the cassatina). Friendly staff and free wifi!

Gelato at it's finest! The two guys working the counter in this place were earning their keep. We were served quickly and allowed to taste samples. The flavors were amazing.
