With no particular dinning plans we stumbled across Dionso, having seen some good reviews we decided to try it out. Definitely well above many other tourist places but still had a very relaxed feel to it. The food was of excellent quality, we had meatballs...More

After reading reviews we expected a lot and our expectations were fulfilled. We arrived a bit before the sun had set and got a table easily. After 10 minutes the place was almost full. Service was warm and quick. We had pasta with squid ink...More

So, we stopped for dinner at a place that was teeming with noisy kids so, as an intolerant and childless couple might do, we left. Down a side street and stopped at Dionoso. How lucky for us. Waiter recommended dishes, which we ordered, and they...More

We were sitting at the exact table featured in the restaurant's profile page. We were a group of 5 and I must say I felt we were too confined in our space. We had booked 5 weeks in advance so we were disappointed that we...More

We ate here for dinner, it's a small intimate restaurant. The waiter was extremely attentive and knowledgable, he helped us on our choice of wine which was excellent. We had three delicious well presented courses, the fennel salad was memorable.

Description
Nestled in one of the alleys of Ortigia, a small charming restaurant, with attention to every detail: From the choice of the raw ingredients to the warm welcome. From a polite, attentive service to the lights and background music.

The kitchen offers local dishes with some culinary provocation that reinterprets the tradition.

We have chosen to propose a short menu in order to ensure quality and freshness of the product and it varies continuously according to the offer of the market and the seasons.

Raw material of excellence, fish exclusively from the Mediterranean and in a series of sought and exclusively seasonal dishes.

The wine cellar offers mainly autochthonous wines and vines, giving preference to organic wines of Sicilian wineries of excellence.

Finally, delicate desserts all home made: The ricotta mousse with orange and cinnamon fragrances, the pistachio flan and other delights of the house.

Dine with us and treat yourself with the pleasure of discovering a contemporary, classic Sicilian cuisine.
