We love this place, we are Sicilians so we want to go somewhere not to touristy. The food is great. We had pizzas and they were very good

We had a lunch with family during visit of Taormina. We ate Minestrone, pizza, pasta and lasagna and all dishes were too salty and absolutely not even to eat. I strongly recommend not to try this restaurant among all others in Taormina or around. I would not write this review if we would not be terribly disappointed! Robert

We had the most amazing wine Pizza salad and pasta! Marco took great care of us and spoke amazing English. He helped us decide what to eat and picked our wine and everything was FABULOUS! Sit outside it is so quant and off the path of craziness. BEST Sicilian Pizza!!

Unfortunately my face is beginning to look like a pizza; red, lumpy and fat. However, when in Italy Pizza is one of the more cost effective ways of filling one's belly and so the diet will commence next week and I confidently predict 2017 will be pizza free. Taormina mid week in winter at 2pm is what I might politely... More

We had 3 nights here. We ate at Varo twice, having been referred by an Italian friend. Staff and owner are so attentive, food choices wonderful and very fresh. We loved the asparagus soup, the thin pizzas, the antipasti tray looked scrumptious though we didn't taste & the house wine well above USA restaurant house wine. Lovely place with a... More

We stopped by this restaurant on our last night in Taormina as we were looking for a place a bit off the main street. They have a fantastic patio set up in the courtyard just off the main street, which you can easily locate (it is well signed). The pizza we had was DELICIOUS!! My husband and myself both thoroughly... More

These guys put so much cheese on their pizzas. But if you like that you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is nice, in a square off the main part of Taormina but well signposted. Calamari was nice and served with a small side of vegetables. Good but nothing amazing.

Place is not worth to go there. Location is really nice and quiet. Pizza just ok - nothing special, not worth to try it. They serive was really bad! On the begining waiter told we have wait 10 minutes for table.. in fact we were waiting 40 minutes for table. Then we ordered pizza. Another 1 hour of waiting for... More

Great pizza, nice place in quiet area, everything ok, but 2 euro per person for "visit" is too much.
