My second visit in 3 years and again so impressed at the quality of food. Pastas are amazing! Owner served us made us feel at home. Small place but very cozy and friendly. A must when walking the streets of Cortona and looking for a place to eat. Congrats to the Cenci family for your hospitality! See you again soon.... More

At the end of a long day traveling this was a very welcome end. Warm welcome and good wholesome home cooked food. Fabulous wild boar stew.

I cannot describe the lemon sauce on the cheese ravioli. It makes you stop and stare at your plate. We asked immediately if they would share the recipe. Absolutely not. Chef had been making this family sauce for 20 years. Right across from the police station - Carabinieri...a favorite for them. Steaks and soups great. If I was on a... More

Our large group ate dinner here one evening and all enjoyed their meals. Some folks had the wild boar stew, I had a delicious plate of pasta. Nice atmosphere, Service was very good.

After thinking we were not going to find anywhere for dinner we came across this little place. Instantly made to feel welcome, menu was also in English which the waiter could also speak very well. Food was great local tasty and just enough, didn't feel like we were going to explode afterwards. Had a really good bottle of local Sauvignon... More

We had dinner here with friends on a stormy fall night -- a lovely refuge. The restaurant is small and popular among locals, so you'll need a reservation. The atmosphere is relaxed and homey, the food hearty and savory.

We discovered Trattoria Toscana late on in our two week Tuscan holiday, but thankfully in enough time to dine here at least twice. Family owned and run, the food is beautifully authentic, served by a young restaurateur with a passion for good food and a knowledge of wines to complement (yep, she's the sommelier too.) The wild boar stew was... More

A friendly, smiling welcome, surrounded by locals, who obviously were regulars, was already a good start to what turned out to be a very good meal with good local wine, all at reasonable prices. The service could not be faulted. We'll definitely go again on our next visit to Cortona.
