Note- they don't serve pizza! As there sign says. No need for pizza here!! Fresh ingredients. Great bread, great location. Great outdoor space protected by a wonderful arch. There Tuscan vegetable soup is a meal in itself. Large portions. They don't mind you sharing. Highly recommend

The atmosphere is typical of an Italian old taverna, fit well with Cortona. The tagliatelle with lamb souce and truffle were so tasty that only one portion wasn't enough. The meat was also very good, considering the prices it is rare to find such fresh ingredients. Wine selection was impressive, I suggest for those wine lovers of some super tuscan... More

If you want top natural wines from all over Italy (and a few from France) this is the place to go. Let the owner choose for you if you are undecided, you can trust him fully, he is extremely knowledgeable, but always fair. The atmosphere is that of a lively brasserie, with an excellent sample of local, seasonal food, and... More

It remains the most brilliant oenophile experience. Genius . Arnaldo has the range , taste and knowledge. The food changes a little year on year and has plenty of choice - all locally sourced - pastas, meats, cheeses, vegetables , bruschette , a cod and so on. Soups always delicious. Prices extremely reasonable. Book . It is discovered - and... More

The restaurant is located in an old cellar. You can really feel the atmosphere from old times. Good original homemade food, with local products and wines of high quality. The wine list it self is magnificent, only the best wines will find a way to this restaurant. You will get the owners passion for food and wine, served on a... More

We were lucky enough to eat here with a group during the molesini wine evening. The food was superb- the guinea fowl ravioli was AMAZING!

We were with a wedding party who participated in the wine tasting at Enotecca Molesini in Piazza della Repubblica before dinner. Marco let us taste Amore E Follia, Amore E Magia, Lupi E Sirene and Bonsai from the vineyards of Podere le Ripi. A 5 course dinner followed at Taverna Pane e Vino paired with the wines we tasted. The... More

Went there on the evening of August 14 and u fortunately there was a very noisy djset in the main square that ruined a bit our experience. However thanks to the caring service we managed to enjoy our dinner anyways. We tried different mix of salami and cheese as well as a selection of crostoni (really good)! My boyfriend tried... More

We stopped at this restaurant on a hot day after a visit to the Etruscan museum. The interior was mercifully cool and the decor rustic with some clever and quirky twists. The service, though not overly friendly was very efficient. The food good and solid Tuscan fare, with light dishes for snacks or heart pastas for bigger appetites. A very... More

Over many years and many visits we must by now have tried almost every eatery in Cortona, but this is the one we keep going back to. Food and wine with real passion, always something different and interesting, and lots of traditional local dishes to try.
