The waitress was really nice and attentive. I asked for recommendations for wine and then a cheese and meat plate to go with that wine and it was great. It's a very popular place (for a good reason) so I would get there early.

You'd walk by and not find this place if you weren't careful. That would be ok with us, but a mistake for you. Best selection of cheeses/app's we found in Florence at any price point. Maybe 4 or 5 tables outside in small piazza, another...More

Stopped by here at the recommendation of a friend for a glass of wine and a snack. The open face hot bread and meat dishes are one of the best things I ate in Italy. The restaurant is slightly set back from the craziness of...More

We were very lucky to snag an outside table @ 18:15 due to the help of the server. They are often reserved in advance. It was lovely and cool there. Inside was too warm for us. We ordered a red wine tasting with assorted meats...More

My husband and I stopped at Le Volpi & L'Uva after reading TripAdvisor reviews; we were looking for a wine bar for a late lunch around 16:00. Unlike many restaurants in Firenze (and Italy in general), they stay open continuously throughout the day without closing...More

This is a lovely wee bar - the staff are friendly and really know the wines they stock, the food is fab, and it's a great way to avoid the crowds on Ponte Vecchio for a while. We killed far too much time here, but...More

We walked by three times on three separate occasions before we could snag a table outside. Cool little place with an interesting wine list. Stop by if you're lucky!

This is one of the least expensive places in Florence with some of the most reasonably priced wines, and yet it offers some of the best food and some of the best wines, and that doesn't make any sense at all! Except to the owners...More

We managed to snag a table next to the bar, while we would've preferred the terrace, but beggars can't the choosers. They have a nice selection of local wines. Nice crostini and breads.

Until today, I would have said no, but I am almost positive that I saw a tray with six bottles of beer on it being delivered to a table. It looked like beer from northern Italy or German region. I will ask next time I go.

If you are able to reserve, it is probably worth it. It does get quite busy. We were quite lucky in that we got the last two stools at the 'bar' area inside. But on both occasions we visited, there were no tables outside... More
