This is an average restaurant which does not deserve a Michelin Star. The service is not good. Average food but "nothing to write home about". Plus it is unnecessary expensive. Moreover, my impression is that the restaurant is managed by an inexperienced team. Kitchen seemed...More

We had the extensive tasting menu (11 courses) which contained excellent dishes alternated with average ones, hence the below optimal score. A lot of effort went into the presentation with some of the food presented as little animals on your plate. Some of the combinations...More

Ora d'Aria is a slightly hidden, small restaurant that serves very good food. The set lunch costs 35 euros for 5 courses and while that is certainly not cheap for lunch in Florence, I believe it is relatively good value for the level of cooking...More

Really interesting place. The chef spends most of his time with the customers rather than in the kitchen, which is great. The amuse bouche were excellent - actually everything was excellent. Be brave and try the olive oil based dessert. It was truly delicious.

We booked a table and arrived a little over 20.00. The restaurant is stylish but cold. There is no atmosphere in this place and we were the only once in. We genuinely wanted to eat and enjoy a night out in a special place. It...More

The restaurant gave away our table without notifying me and explained that I failed to email them a few days before the reservation to reconfirm. This despite several emails and speaking on the phone when arranging/confirming the dinner and them having my contact information. The...More

The meal was outstanding as expected, with consistently confident cooking throughout. What really made the lasting impression was the presence of Chef Marco Stabile - he served us his very own dishes. He engaged with us and the other diners, and this added a sense...More

Ora d'Aria is a one star Michelin restaurant in the heart of Florence. Timing between dishes was perfectly timed. Good taste and innovative, risotto was super, worth visiting.

Description
If you fancy a break from the hustle and bustle of Florence, take the plunge and book yourself a table at Ora d'Aria in the Via Ghibellina. Decorated in shades of vanilla, this elegant restaurant is a welcome escape from the tourist trail, and Head Chef Marco Stabile has created a menu which features the best culinary traditions from the region. Sit back and relax as dishes such as the spaghetti with cuttlefish drizzled with extra virgin olive oil; Piedmontese steak with garlic chips and panzella salad; and black cod with a Tuscan bean and onion salad give you an authentic taste of Tuscany in stylish surrounds. Ora d'Aria's impressive wine list features an excellent selection of Tuscan and French wines.
