Lovely brioche croissants with chocolate, vanilla and pistachio fillings great coffee and the right price, if you stay on your feet. Lots of locals filtering in for bread and coffee.

Nice ambient, great wines, simple but authentic food, like a great Ribollita. An historic place in the heart of Firenze

We stopped by without a reservation after a long day after seeing them recommended in Rick Steves' TourBook for Tuscany and Florence. We had great food, wine, and cheeses. If I remember correctly, Giovanni Da Verrazzano who explored the New York bay is related to...More

Stopped in without a reservation after a long day. Tables are bar style and work well for a quick small meal. Everything was if excellent quality, very fresh Italian style "tappas". Prices are fair and you can purchase their oils, vinegars, pastries to go.

Superb coffee served with genuine friendly and helpful staff - good strong freddo shakeratos and a wide variety of pastries and cakes, though the croissants sell out early. If we had been there at lunchtime we would have tried the focaccia, which looked delicious. They...More

We were in Florence for 30 hours and went here twice. I'd be back every morning if I spent more time in Florence. Lovely atmospheric cafe bar with good food and coffee and excellent morning pastries. Lots of locals there too.

We went here for a light lunch. We had some of their famous focaccias, and some wine. Great friendly service and the focaccias were delicious.

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
