Stopped here in between the Uffizi and the Duomo and it was the perfect spot. A bit higher end than most of the options in the area, but worth the money for the calm vibe. Food was good, more appetizers than proper meals, but filling...More

Stacked with plenty authentic Tuscan treats, its worth a stopover. There was a long queue for tables, but takeaway options are available too. I did exactly this, and enjoyed my delicious sandwich on a bench whilst people watching in one of the many pretty city...More

A wonderful place for a casual light lunch whilst shopping or sightseeing. Great bruschetta, and little Tuscan delicacies such as fried chickpea parcels with truffles. Good wine list, and charming atmosphere. Smart rather than rustic, but very friendly with charming waiters who are as welcoming...More

This was the food highlight of Florence everything about it cried authentic and it's packed with locals. We tried everything over the course of our stay and nothing disappointed. The focaccia was wonderfully light and slightly salty just like it should be and they have...More

The worker behind the pastry/bread area knew I was waiting to be served but ignored me and decided to help other locals before me. Thankfully, an Italian lady noticed what was happening and in Italian told her I'd been waiting and need her service. The...More

Our tour guide recommended this place for a light lunch. This is not a place that the tourists go. So, the food is true authentic florentine cuisine. We tried the focaccias and they were amazing. Nothing like the ones you buy in the United States....More

Do not miss this traditional Forno and try the foccacia degustation plate. The foccacia are cooked on site in the traditional wood oven. The decoration is simple but elegant (dark wood). The home wine from Verrazzano estate is lovely.

We stayed at the Stanze del David Hotel, which is right across the street from Cantinetta dei Verrazzano, so we had breakfast here several mornings. The options available were enormous and the bakery items were delicious. The coffee and tea also were excellent, and the...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
