This place is a little gem. We tried the rasperry little tarte and it was simply perfect. The cream was just sweet enough and the base was a thin and stiff shortbread shell. Nothing to do with an ordinary "pastina". Their assortment is also very different from a common "pasticceria". Coffe was really good too. Next time we'll be in... More

No one does dolci quite like the Florentines and during a 5 week stay in the city I tried this theory out regularly. Dolci and Dolcezze was my hands down favourite. A small, beautiful jewel of a pasticceria which does a few things perfectly. While their famous chocolate torte is certainly worth the trip, don't forget to try their exquisite... More

This small pastry shop near the center of Florence is a paradise for all those love pastries and desserts. Made of all fresh ingredients and seasonal fruits delicately laid onto delicious cream and pastry shell seem to melt in your mouth and just ask you to "eat me up"!! Their chocolate fudge tart is to die for- More than one... More

My regular patisserie is Il Vecchio Forno. But if I want a special treat, or need to impress at a dinner party, I buy something from Dolce e Dolcezze. Their tarts (large or small) are their specialty. A little pricier - but once you take a bite, you forget about that. The service is friendly. You won't find desserts like... More

If you are near Piazza Beccaria and need a coffee shop, find the little turquoise and gold shop front with the beautiful patisserie in the window...have the most delicious coffee and vow you'll go running later so you can sample one of the exquisite croissants or cakes. The lemon tarts, raspberry tarts and chocolate cakes are all works of art... More

Despite all the horrible, bittered, burnt coffee you can get in florence, this pearl can make you dream again, from the moment you step in to the next day, and coffee is just the starter, making omg delicious cakes is their forte, just go, you will not be disappointed. like when you travel to India and get to see the... Dolci&Dolcezze is a gem. As you enter through it's pale water green front door the scent of butter, and marmalade and coffee and fresh fruit and champagne all invade your senses, leaving you nothing to do but eat, and drink, and eat again. Their cakes are a true work of art, with crowns of blackberries on a sheet of whipped... More

This pasticceria was recommended by a great australian chef Christine Mansfield and it did not disappoint. Full flavoured velvety coffee and little cakes made with care and attention where the flavours of the ingredients dominate not the sugar. Small flourless dark chocolate cakes, fig and creme patissiere tarts, rice pudding tarts, fresh dark chocolate and marshmallow tarts. Such care and... More

We stop here whenever we travel through town: for us, this is the center of Florence! Pastries are artfully made, beautyful to look at and delighgtul to taste. Coffee is excellent too, making this spot a wonderful little oasis of earthly pleasures. It is a bit pricier than your average bar but think of it as edible art and not... More
