The waitresses are not kind and pay no attention to the customers , just to themselves. Food is okay but service is not!

We ate at this place for lunch and it was by far the best food we had in Italy. We had a grilled meat plate for two along with some grilled vegetables and it was absolutely fantastic. The beer was cold, the bread was tasty, and we sat outside and savored our meal for a couple hours. The service was... More

Perfect location, small lovely restaurant, very cozy. Excellent food. Don't forget to order the house wine. I've just loved it so much I kept coming back during the days I've been there. The location is also excellent, just in the middle of Florence.

Wonderful food, great service, great atmosphere. Have been lucky enough to have eaten in some superb places in my life and this is great for a homely city restaurant - Loved it!

Enjoyed some red wine, cheese and meats here for a stop off. The staff were friendly and lots of choice here. It is set back in a quiet little square but still enough going on around for a good atmosphere. Lots of people watching done here! And very good price! €12 for a bottle of wine?!

We had lunch here and truly loved it. The stuffed zucchini and gnocchi was beautiful. Our waitress was very attentive and looked after us. Would recommend as it is away from the crowds.

Wow... Hard to believe this place has served so many so well. Never have I been so disappointed in customer service. On top of a 2 euro cover charge?!? Two hours of waiting before receiving food? I don't think so... Maybe it would be okay if the managers and multiple different servers had apologized or offered a solution, but they... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
