This is an authentic Italian restaurant where the menu is not in English and the servers only speak a little English. Don't be intimidated, though, as it is well worth it. I google translated the online menu before we went and our server offered some suggestions. My husband had minestrone soup as a 1st course (easy choice) and I had... More

We'd previous with regard to this restaurant, having eaten here several times a few years ago when fishing the Arno in autumn. It was very good then and we were keen to return. Unfortunately we could only get a table once on our three night stay, It remains very good. They are a fun bunch, service is excellent and the... More

We tried this trattoria for lunch and really enjoyed it. The lamb was one of the best I have ever had, so a must try! The restaurant is full of locals which is always a good sigh. The best part was the bill, very economic :)

You will need a reservation for this place, and there's a reason why. The food is simple, fresh, and fantastic. And the prices are incredibly reasonable. The service is almost hilarious, in terms of the characters that work here. This really is a gem. And by the way - the mixed salad (ensalata mista) is a STEAL for 3 Euro.... More

Of all the trattorias in Rome and Florence this is one of the best. If you want to enjoy an authentic Italian meal like a discerning Italian, this is the place. Turkey piccata was exceptional as was the spaghetti with pesto. Profiteroles are the best I've ever tasted. Enjoy!

After 4 hours of walking around Florence we had an appetite. Lucky we chose this place. T bone, potato, beans. Simple stuff but done very well. Chianti was great too. Service was very capable. Momma and poppa work in the kitchen since 1963 so you can't go wrong.

A very casual and busy place for a quick bite. Lots of locals dining here, as well as tourists. The waiter was great in a rushed New York City Deli way. Good food, good recommendations from the waiter, and an unusual menu. We tried the raw artichokes, which we didn't love, but it was fun to try anyway. The rabbit... More

Not fine dining by any means, but good honest home-cooking style at a reasonable price. Good atmosphere and nice friendly service. Loved the lemon ice cream with vodka dessert (Not the usual lemon sorbet vodka combo, but lovely creamy lemon ice) Very popular, so book ahead.

Unfortunately our experience was not the greatest. The food lacked flavor, seemed ill-prepared, and the service well below standard. There are many other great eating options in Florence so give this place a skip.
