To be fair we may have chosen badly but started with bruschetta’s which were ok, then I had the Florence style fried chicken and wife went with salmon. Chicken was an interesting dish. Chicken was covered in a soft batter, sliced potatoes were also fried...in a batter. Wife’s salmon was served with potatoes and veg. Very wet. The seating outside was a bit cramped but nice enough. As I said we might have just chosen badly but it was nothing to write home aboutMore

Overrated.Despite having a reservation we were treated quite dismissively on arrival. The place is vast, it’s like a giant food factory. The service was so ‘efficient’ that we barely had time to sit down before the order was taken. Very extensive and quite tatty looking...menu. Both of our main courses arrived on cold plates. Never again!More

This restaurant was all over social media had to try it The restaurant is like a tardis lots of beautiful different coloured decorated rooms We were sat in an awful corridor but then got moved to another room that was also used as a corridor...waiters were literally passing too much. The food was ok not like the other two nights . I would say the only good thing about the restaurant was our waiter Ricado he was exceptional!More

An early afternoon ruined. If you’re interested in having your outfit ruined before you take a sip or a bite, followed by a slap in the face with a smile, I suggest this place. My wife loves to search for well reviewed places to eat...or snack at, unfortunately for us, Trattoria ZaZa, was an unmitigated disaster. Our sever was quite nice but nonetheless spilt my entire glass of red wine, in its entirety, into my wife’s lap, splashing on to her sweater and ruining her fresh white shoes… For this, Trattoria ZaZa, extended a 10% discount on our final cheque and a post card. Yes, a post card… Unquestionably a slap in the face and a complete insult we paid the bill in full and left the post card. No we are not giving you her pants and sweater while we eat, to clean. No we are not returning through Firenze to bring the clothes to you and then return a third time to collect the clothes after you’ve cleaned them. Ridiculous. Unpleasant and without a doubt, utterly unprofessional!More

Great tomato and basil gnocchi and we were able to be seated really quickly even though there was a long line. The wait staff was also very kind and attentive

Went for a late lunch after a long morning/afternoon of exploring. We were starving and this restaurant was just what we were looking for! Had the bruschetta and caprese salad which was delicious! Then the carbonara and bolognese which were both to die for! The...staff were lovely and so helpful too. Definitely a restaurant worth a visit! The interior is something in itself and creates a great atmosphere.More

On our 2024 trip to Italy this restaurant was by far the best place we ate at in Rome ,Florence and Venice. It’s a must go place ( as good as it is it wasn’t that pricey)

The food here is amazing!!! I ordered the fried calamari with shrimp and spaghetti with clams. Both were simple but authentic and flavorful. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. The lady that served us was very attentive and so detail oriented. So, I ordered...the spaghetti with clams. I was given a fork and a knife, which I used as a spoon to twirl my spaghetti because I was already hungry. I didn't care anymore to ask for a spoon. Our server immediately went back to the kitchen and handed me a spoon. She was awesome. I didn't expect someone to pay attention, really. Too bad I didn't get her name. She was orienting a young lady at the time. Anyway, she deserves recognition. The restaurant was packed inside. I'm guessing it always is, given the great quality of food and service. They also have outside seats, but because it was chilly, we stayed inside. The price of the food is reasonable. I would definitely come back on my next visit.More

Great service, waiter with a great attitude. The food was amazing, the truffle spaghetti alla carbonara and the Gorgonzola gnocchi were the best pasta in our trip to Italy. House wine was good. We didn’t get to the dessert but the food was delicious.

My husband and I had an amazing time here! It was our first Florentine steak and it did not fail us. We ordered their truffle fries as well. As much as I would have wanted to try their renowned options of pasta, we did not...order any because we knew it will be too much for us to take in. I can say we had an amazing time for the following reasons: 1. Friendly and attentive staff. The line is dispensable because the staff will immediately do their best to sit all guests. 2. Spacious area. They have varying options for diners. Outside, inside- name it! We were seated near the door and to my surprise, when I used the loo, it was so vast inside. More tables and chairs. 3. Steak is great! My husband loved it here. His face lit with so much admiration. I can say the same thing. 9/10 We should try the medium next time and ofc, must come back for the pasta.More

What a fantastic restaurant. We ordered starters, first and second courses along with side dishes and desserts. It came to €109 for all 7 different dishes and a glass of wine. The restaurant is huge, like a maze, spanning across three/four shop fronts. You must...reserve to get a space - just in case! Definitely worth a try!!More

I went here with my friend who has a nut allergy and myself as I have a shellfish allergy. We clearly communicated this with the servers in both Italian and English. Our appetizer arrived and one part of it had been cooked with shellfish, which...they did communicate with us but still brought that portion of the appetizer out anyways. We then ordered our main course and again clearly communicated this to our servers. Our meals came out and after a few bites my friend began going into anaphylactic shock. The waiter said there was again no nuts in her dish but obviously this was not the case as she immediately administered her epi pen. Furthermore, I went back to retrieve our coats from the table and informed our waiters who then proceeded to say they talked with the kitchen and there were no nuts in her dish. I told them we were leaving and they only continued to fight the fact that there were nuts in her truffle pasta. Not only did they not take the proper precautions when it comes to allergies, especially when the severity of them is clearly defined, but they tried to disagree with the fact that my friend had gone into anaphylactic shock.More
