If you think you have had good eggplant Parmesan before you are about to find nirvana. I cannot imagine eating it anywhere else ever again!! So different. Absolutely amazing. Such rich flavored. This place earns and deserves all five stars. You won’t be disappointed.

I came here solo on Valentines Day on the recommendation of hotel concierge. I asked for homestyle Tuscan cooking and friendly service. They took my reservation for a 9pm dinner and it was packed as you could imagine. Lively atmosphere but cozy and not obnoxious....More

Love this restaurant. It is a very family oriented trattoria. The food is fresh and delicious. I love the pici pasta the best and find that all the desserts are amazing — especially the chocolate flourless cake!!

My friends and I all took pastas and they were all tasty and original! I personally had blue cheese gnocchis with a gorgonzola sauce and truffles sprinkled all over it. It was filling and we all had a good time!

Intimate 36 seating capacity setting with quality food using good ingredients to compliment food preparation. No plate presentation, just good solid food. Silver stew, linens and glassware are clean. Eggplant parmesan was served in a large portion at right temperature and texture. Ravioli with meat...More

La Maremma is run by a group of young people who prepare and serve superb food. The restaurant is small, warm, charming, and seems to be frequented by many local people. We loved the food and service so that we returned a second time.

When I travel I like to go to restaurants where the locals eat. A friend told me about this place and I was so glad I went. The food was delicious. We all split a variety of dishes which included the wild boar, mozarella and...More

A very friendly active restaurant but not one of the best in the area. The pasta dishes were hit or miss and the meat was a little tough to chew. We did not stay for dessert but would maybe try again another time. But tonight...More

Description
...A few steps from ‘“Santa Croce” square, in front of the “Teatro Verdi”, in the historical centre of Florence, is the restaurant La Maremma.....since 1987, a meeting point and source of ancient tastes and Tuscan traditions...... With its main dining room sorrounded by the warm colours of the wood and wine most and continuing into a second room with sofa and leather chairs, to get to the tiny hunter-room for just 8 lucky people.
