Our B&B nearby recommended this place and we were so glad they did. Its small with a friendly staff and a not so large menu. But everything we had was delicious - especially the stuffed artichokes and the beef stew. The pastas are so good too. Very good rasberry tiramisu. Overall a very enjoyable evening - we liked it so... More

Great food - but TripAdvisor reviews led me to believe this might be some of the best food in Florence . Sadly not the case . Really enjoyed the desserts tiramisu and meringue cake . But thought the fried chicken and artichoke was prettt average . Loved the set up .

We came After a long day in Florence and enjoyed every minute! It was hard to decide which pasta we want (because everything on the menu looks so good) so the owner suggested to surprise us! We took the offer and we do not regret it! The food was amazing and the stuff even better. The restaurant is nice for... More

Small restaurant. On my first visit, I was able to be seated without a reservation only because I was early 7:30 pm (opening time) and alone. They gave me a small table in a corner but the food was delicious (artichoke salad, pasta with zucchinni flowers and saffron). I was not able to reserve a table for another night that... More

Very informal atmosphere, great service, really good food. Would definitely recommend it. One of the few Rick Steves restaurant recommendations that we really enjoyed.

Traditional and rustic, but excellent food and very good value. Very welcoming staff. We were a group of 11 incl two small children. We booked ahead that morning and they found us a comfortable table in the small dining room. Would definitely recommend.

The atmosphere is rustic, a few tables at the entrance are a tad uncomfortable but the food is exceptionally good and traditional. Excellent price/quality ratio. Not surprisingly it is always full. Well worth waiting or planning ahead to get a table.

We popped in for lunch on the recommendation of a salesperson in a shop. Very good duck pasta, carbonara and one other pasta dish

Had a lovely dinner at this cozy bistro. The food was fresh and flavorable. While the menu was not particularly unique, including many of the local favorites, each was delicious, well presented and comforting. We had a range of antipastos followed by some of the best homemade pasta we had in Florence. The Pappardelle with Duck and the Ravioli were... More

During our family visit to Florence we went to several, highly rated establishments over the course of 6 days. This one was our favorite and we tried to make one last visit before we left but we were too late trying to reserve for a Saturday night and didn't get the chance. It's a very small place, still run by... More
