Ate here recently and could not have been happier. The head host/waitress/manager as far as I could tell was a women whose name I believe was Velma. She was unbelievable. She bounced between tables with a flood of energy and suggestions. The food was top not and presented beautifully. Prices were totally reasonable and if I am ever back in... More

We ate at Ristorante Porcospino for lunch. I had the sausage and beans and my partner had the carbonara. The carbonara was very cheesy, fine if you like that. The sausages and beans were undercooked. The pork sausage was raw inside and the beans were slightly crunchy in the middle. A disappointing lunch. The service was great and the staff... More

Franco and his staff are the absolute best! They treat you like family and feed you like it too. Very loving staff coupled with amazing food makes this restaurant great. I met Franco in 2004 studying abroad as a young 21 year old. He took care of us as if we were family. Upon returning in 2015 he looked at... More

Came across this place by chance. Entertaining waiter, good food and wine. The extras (water, side dishes etc.) are a bit over the top, but overall it was good value for money given the lovely experience

A nice restaurant without having the wow factor of a lot of others. A nice menu, offering authentic Tuscan food. Not much of an atmosphere on the evening we ate there, perhaps because it's slightly away from the more bustling areas around San Lorenzo.

Our first night in Florence we went here for dinner. The server asked what type of food we liked & took it from there. The food and wine were very good. He even brought complimentary Lemoncello for dessert.

They charge you €2.50 per person cover charge. €2.70 for a bottle of water which is not sealed plus a 10% service charge. This is a place to cheat tourists. Poor expensive food. Avoid this place. There are many better options in Florence.

Wandering around in Florence on our first night there, we came across this lively place with outdoor tables. Our waiter took us under his wing and recommended some great dishes.
