This is a real gem, really popular so book in advance. The atmosphere of the whole area was great when we visited, nice bars on the square close by!! Well worth the short walk out of the more tourist orientated areas. The restaurant was very busy but in a nice way which created a really good atmosphere. The food was... More

I found this restaurant over three years ago thanks to my parents, and have gone back more times than I can say. It is a fabulous restaurant, with consistency and quality, but also family. I love Mama Giovanna, and they way everyone who works there continues to put passion into their food and service. A lot of restaurants in Florence... More

We visited Pandemonio on our second night in Firenze and absolutely loved it. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we returned two evenings later. The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all wonderful! Make sure you try the asparagus with the fried egg appetizer, percocinni stuffed ravioli, and asparagus risotto. I don't even like asparagus, and I... More

I got a personal recommendation from a girlfriend who was in Florence a few months before me and absolutely raved about this restaurant. When I looked it up and saw the stellar reviews I was sure that we were going to have an amazing meal. Alas, I was disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high, but the restaurant did not... We went to Trattoria Pandmonio di Casa Brogi on our first night in Florence. (It really is nice to be able to make a reservation online!) The staff was extremely professional and friendly, and the food was amazing! We had fresh asparagus with a poached egg to start - so simple but so good. My husband had the osso bucco... More

Definitely a good place... a bit fine dining but not too expensive... their steak is bit too rare for my friends but I do like it. The tiramisu is very yummy... we ordered a fried artichoke which is not bad and asparagus with fried egg that can't be wrong

This was our last meal in Florence and it was such a great experience! The service was fantastic and the waiter gave us some free drinks after learning it was a birthday celebration! The food was great. We would def visit again when next in town!

We came attracted by the reviews, but there was nothing special in what we had. We ordered cheese and hams + breaded veal, and they were ok but certainly not to be remembered. Besides, the place is surely not cheap. Frankly, I do not believe all the enthusiastic reviews I had read before going are true.

I hate to say this but this was my least favorite meal in Italy. It's a little outside of the city center which doesn't bother me but it was also the most expensive meal we had. There are 3 rooms in the restaurant and I am convinced that they put the tourists (and specifically the Americans) in the back room... More
