The view from the terrace at the river Arno (that's why the name...) is quite nice. We enjoyed that very much. The food was tasty. We had salads and coffee. We also liked the olive oil and bread, but you have to pay extra for it. I really liked the interior design of the restaurant. Nice atmosphere and a big... More

This is my second time here, tried a different wine and meal and it was still the best place I've eaten in Florence!

Lungarno 23 is located in old town, very close to Ponte Vecchio. I had a dinner here with my friends on a December night. The place is quite nice though not chic. The service is good enough. I didn't like paper kidnappings. We had a reservation and when we arrived we're promptly seated inside. They also have some tables in... More

Excellent Service however everything they charge 5 euros for a bottle of tap water (purified😃) and 3 euros pp for cover...( a piece of paper placebo mat). So it is very expensive for what you get!

Lovely place. Lovely people. Lovely food. Not expensive at all. We ate different kinds of meat. Excellent. The atmosphere is very nice. Better for couple or small groups.

Firstly this place was amazing, really nice atmosphere, great burgers and the best chips I have ever had (which is a lot of chips!!!). The cheapest burger was €14 which is the most expensive burger I have ever seen. We got a cheese and a bacon burger which were €15 each and they were really really good, but 15 for... More

We came for the burgers, stayed for the truffles. Flights of local pecorino cheeses, burrata, truffle cream potatoes. What can I say - it was so delicious that we went back the next evening. The proprietor is very warm and welcoming and greeted us almost as friends the second night we returned. The atmosphere is very understated - elegant but... More

We were in Florence for 1 month and kept mentioning that we should go to this place to get our burger fix. Well we pulled the trigger on our last night and boy we are glad we did. Excellent choice and the burger was special. An added bonus was our waiter Pietro... he was pleasant, informative, engaging and friendly. Ask... More

My wife and I wanted to go out for a quick appetizer and glass of wine early in the evening prior to a business meeting. When we arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 (opened at 7:00), we could find no one around to seat us. After waiting about five minutes, someone finally came out. While looking over the menu, we... Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
