Not only is the ice cream fantastic, but the service is warm and friendly with generous portions for very low cost. Although about 30 minutes walk from the centre this is a fifth of the cost and five times tastier than anything in the centre of Florence. Make the effort and you will be rewarded by genuine smiles and a... More

Well, as far as sandwiches are concerned their quality was around average, may be even slightly bellow the Italian standard. However, they are strong in ice creams. They offer a number of flavors, many of them are lactose free. All of them were above average, some of them perfect. I would definitely recommend to visit this place. The only thing... More

This is the spot to cool down on a hot summer night if you're around Le Cure. The gelato and granita are excellent. There are loads of chairs outside so you can watch the world go by as you work through your ice cream. They do take out, too!

Friendly & helpful staff, really excellent gelato, free wifi, fresh and delicious pastries and the tramezzini weren't bad either. We really appreciated the friendly neighborhood cafe with an easygoing attitude.

Beautiful ice cream, such a variety. Couldn't live here, would get too fat as would have to have one of these everyday!

This ice cream is much more popular with the locals than with the tourists, as it is off the beaten paths (anyway it's not too far from the itinerary for the city of Fiesole), and I think its reputation is well deserved. Both the ice creams in the strict sense that the "semifreddo" are a delight. Just a few examples... More

Went there through reccomendation and it was a disappointing experience. Feels like the ice creams are fairly "watery". Wouldn't go back at all.

We stopped in Gelateria Cavini after a dinner around the corner. They are nowhere near the center of town. While they had a big selection their gelato was just average – not very memorable. If you’re thinking of making the trip away from the center of town to give them a try, forget it. There’s much better gelato towards the... More
