We ate here our last night in Florence as this restaurant was attached to our hotel. It's small and cozy with very friendly staff. The food was fresh and fabulous. The menu changes so it could be different when you're there. We enjoyed the baked...More

In the center, confused amid touristic restaurants, a true example of a creative approach to traditional territory cuisine. Taste, balance, innovation in a very pleasant atmosphere. Staff very friendly but even the slow food can’t be that slow. Maybe it was the wrong moment, but...More

We had lunch there when we were starving and it was fine. We unexpectedly ended up having dinner. Service was so so; veal was cold. Average.

It is a very cool place conveniently located near the Duomo but out of the main bustle and attached to a hotel. The food was delicious, light, fresh, the kind that makes you feel good after a day walking. And thete were some new combinations...More

We are Asians who liked soup. The Tuscany soup and the stewed beef in this restaurant are amazingly good and the portion is large. The price is good. The stewed beef is the really very very good, especially if you don't like eating anything half...More

Fresh food is the order of the day at this restaurant. They focus on fresh ingredients from their farm, and mostly (depending on where you sit) you can see the dishes being prepared. Great flavours, some unusual but local dishes, and reasonably priced. We ate...More

A secluded romantic table for two, next to a 500 year old exposed brick wall, in this organic, vegetarian and gluten free available (80% of menu) gem of a restaurant in central Firenze (Florence). My wife is a celiac and requires gluten free...the best meal...More

We found the food very tasty, but do note that the menu is very limited (only 2 entrees were offered on the night we were there, and no pasta.) So you may ask to check out the menu before you sit down.

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by

Description
We are located in the historic center of Florence, between Piazza del Duomo and San Marco and we offer a simple and tasty cuisine, made with the freshest ingredients of the highest quality. We owned a small farm in Reggello that provides us vegetables, fruit and extra virgin olive oil certified organic by ICEA. For this reason our menu is seasonal and changes every three months according to the production of the garden. The focus is on offer vegetarian dishes and great attention is paid to the Gluten Free offer, almost everything on the menu is suitable for people with celiac disease! Limited offer of meat, but always available in most traditional recipes:)
