Excellent crusts and delicious tomato sauce makes this pizza some of the best we had in Florence. Very friendly staff and quick service. We ate take-away both times as we were staying nearby; the restaurant itself is a bit dull to eat in, though you can see the pizzas being made as you wait.

My partner and we're recommended this place by our hotel and we were not disappointed! The staff are all extremely friendly and you can watch them make your food from scratch through the Perspex/glass into the kitchen. My partner and I were seated right next to this window and so watched our pizza from dough to completion. The food was... More

This is the BEST pizza I've had in Italy! The service was great, friendly people, and best of all - amazing food.

I was getting frustrated for not finding a pizzeria with a wood burning oven. Most of the places have an electric oven.... our pizzas were very good as one would expect in Italy. Very inexpensive to Canadian standards. 7 Euros for a Marguarita compared to $24.00 at the two sisters restaurant in Niagara..... The service was not the best but... More

It wasn't until much later that I found out about Jersey Shore working here, however it was actually my mother that decided to eat at this place, commenting that it was hip, but seemed like it had good food; she was correct. My mother had a pizza that she said was superb, while I had an incredible calzone, filled with... More

I tried the new lasagna... i mean Italian government should close this restaurant! They put the lasagna that was out of the fridge in a plate and right to the microwave it looked and tasted horrible... the attention was beyond bad and the chef was throwing things arround like if he was mad or something... PLEASE DONT GO!

The server is kind, and her English is easy to understand. The price is reasonable. Cozy, taste is also good. (but little salty to me). The sad point is that I didn't have lots of informations about menu.

The pizza was very good; however, we couldn't pay with credit card, only cash is accepted. We visited in winter, it was cold inside.

The pizza here was decent but definitely not the best. It might have been the type we got, the burrata pizza. The burrata was cold so I didn't like that much. The crust was good, but nothing to brag home about. I would go back but get a different kind of pizza.

We were glad we used Trip advisor to find this place! We ordered off of the Popular Items menu, with the burrata and a salad to start. The burrata exploded with creamy cheese and was delicious with olive oil, vinegar, salt & pepper. We are it on the bread slices they gave with it. It was great! We also ordered... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
