The small dining room prepares really quite good food. Our favorite was a small chocolate cake which was really to die for!

Excellent food. Great service. Near the duomo in Florence. Quiet place to sit outside and watch the locals go about their business. Nothing rushed. Very casual

This classy little establishment serves delicious, well-prepared, market-fresh food, morning to night. During the day, it fills with locals, who appreciate its natural style and good manners. A nice taste of a more sincere and traditional restaurant for the visitor.

We came here twice because it was the next block over from our hotel. The first night I had the lemon chicken with baked potatoes, which was amazing. The second time, I had a pasta dish, which was less impressive. The tiramisu was excellent though! The waiters here were excellent as well. The first night they even gave us a... More

We appeared in this place after a heavy rain, and it was the best place we ate in Italy for 10 days. The food was really tasty, the owners were very sweet, the service was really good and the interior quite interesting. We came back the next day as well for their tasty food. This place has low price compared... More

Dropped in here for lunch whilst doing the typical tourist thing. Good varied menu about average price considering its proximity to the main tourist attractions. Good food, pleasant and efficient service

We ordered cappuccinos and were served caffe lattes. Upon clarifying the order with the waiter, we were then re-served the same cafe lattes poured into cappuccino cups with additional foam on top. Combined with the astronomical price of 3 euro per cup AND average breakfast sandwiches, anywhere else in Florence could have done a better job. Go a few blocks... More

Had a very pleasant and inexpensive lunch with friends here on my way to the Art Academy in Florence. It was delicious, excellent wifi and the waiters were accommodating. Would return.

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
