Ruba is one of my favorite spots in florence. For 15 Euro's you can get unlimited wine, 2 pastas and appetizers. The service is good. The food is good and unlimited wine is hard to beat at the price.

After studying abroad in Florence for the past 3 months, this is one of the best restaurants I've tried so far! Best bread I've had in Italy with generous size portions for meals! Menu shows pictures with every item which is extremely helpful and prices are affordable! Would definitely recommend to everyone! Staff is also very friendly and extremely helpful!

After a delightful 3-hour visit to the Bargello, we left the museum and started walking down Via Ghibellina. There is a covered seating area outside the restaurant and we noticed a family just starting dinner. There was a massive t-bone steak on the table with grilled zucchini. We had heard about these huge steaks from other reviews. We asked the... More

If you get served a draft beer without foam or bubbles,(tasted like tap water) the servant is responsible - you can´t tap a draft beer like that, without notice it- so the servants has made a decision about serving a lazy beer - and also asked for just one "star"

With babies it was takeaway but the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Cheerful and friendly the order was taken promptly and after a short wait it was efficiently packed. Delicious was the verdict. Pizza was super, seafood pasta tasty and the gnocchi firm and scrumptious. Fresh salad and plenty of yummy bread. Additional cutlery and many serviettes helped out... Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
