Great location, and amazing Martinis, what more could you want. A great place for lunch to soak up the sun and the passers by. We sat out on the terrace. Loved the Buffalo and Mozzarella

The food was delicious! Fabulous atmosphere and great food. I was well taken care of. I must say, I had a fabulous afternoon. The hospitality was exceptional; everything was explained so eloquently and my glass was always full of wine. I

Only hung out for drinks and apps but they were amazing! Ended up having a second round and being late for our dinner reservation bc we wanted more! Hang out outside and enjoy. The service was spotty. But they were a little busy so I'll give them that. If you're passing by and craving a cocktail do yourself a favor,... More

It was a special brithday meal for my wife. We were given a prime table. We were treated like royalty thoughout our meal. The food was stunning - divine tastes, excellent presentation, very good menu range, superb choice of wines. It's now in our 'top 3 best ever meals' list. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough - if you're... More

True it's a bit expensive, but considering the location and surroundings, not excessively so. Highly proficient staff (we particularly liked the Dutch intern). Excellent minestrone and octopus main course was also typical of the region and very tasty. A good quality glass of rose. Sound coffees and a classy grappa rounded things off well! If you really want to blend... More

My wife and I stopped for lunch w/o knowing anything about this restaurant. We were received by a delightful young waitress who spoke excellent English and made us comfortable. The food was excellent. My wife had a sea food risotto and I had Milanese cutlet, we shared an antipasti. Everything was tasty, well-prepared, and in sufficient portions. The restaurant overlooks... We are staying in the Savoy and have an 85 Euro credit at the hotel restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. First seriously disappointing meal of our 10 days in Italy so far. Under cooked mixed fish plate with absolutely no flavor. My wife liked hers meal which was Sea Bass with olive oil mashed potatoes. But... More

despite its very touristy location, this is not a tourist trap, unlike Gilli across the street. L'Incontro is part of the great Savoy hotel and serves its purpose, good food great location and awesome/friendly service

The bar is very pretty and the service was ok. We popped in here to grab a drink as we were walking around the city and the inside bar was empty. Which was actually kinda nice as there were masses of people all over the city all day. We sat in a corner, both ordered a beer and talked about... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
