PopCafe has the feel of a student union bar (including the gender neutral toilet with seat stacked in), as a place it's nothing special, but for buzz it's great. The drinks are more than reasonable for Florence around €5 a spina of beer, early evening also sees the aperitivo available for €3 per person, the buffet selection is basic, but... More

When we were in Florence, we were told to go outside the historic center in order to have a different Florentine experience. So we arrived to the Piazza Santo Spirito. In the plaza we were lucky and found a table in this cafe. It was summer, so we were in the terraza. The waitress was really nice (she spoke more... More

They do cheap, decent coffee in the morning and cheap, decent cocktails at night. The food is pretty average though.

so basically the drinks were nice, the white wine: delicious. the cocktails...fair(but I'm a barman-mixologist myself so hard to impress). The waitress was lovely, the barmen was a douchbag, very unfriendly but possibly because of language barriers so excusable. However when the bill arrived they added euros on at everychance, water listed for 1 euro charged us 2, mojito listed... More

PopCafe sits on the side of Piazza Santo Spirito, "Oltrarno", on the other side of the Arno from the Duomo. In warm weather there are outdoor tables and the Piazza itself is usually a wonderful, less hectic location than the main tourist areas. PopCafe offers lunch, brunch and their Aperitivo buffet. Buy one drink and the buffet is included. The... More

Piazza Santo Spirito is full of places where you can have a drink, dinner or just have the delicious apperitivo. PopCafe was very nice, service is quite good. We had drinks and beer and had also the apperitivo buffet, which was good. A nice option at Piazza Santo Spirito

Came here for drinks after dinner in the piazza. No cocktail/wine list available. Ordered a wine and cocktail and bartender ridiculed the drink order, making us feel quite uncomfortable. Drinks were average. When asking about wine options staff were quite dismissive/unhelpful. Sat outside which was nice but that was about it. Good people watching. Partner used the unisex toilet which... More

We stopped here twice. First time after dinner for wine and second time in the morning just for a Coke in the sun before our plane. We enjoyed both times, a little expensive but the square is known for its high prices. Would return in future but after looking at other reviews would not be trying the cocktails.
