I came across this place by accident and what a great find! It is a modern wine bar in a traditional red brick building near the port, with tables inside and on the street, great air con and super staff. It took three waiters to get me online but they finally did it - well done! This place has good... More

Looks like an old style osteria, and probably that's what it was in the past. Tradional tuscan food (crostini, ham and cheese as appetisers) and caciucco alla livornese are all good quality. Also fried calamari are quite good. Service is simple and friendly (not easy to find in Tuscany!) Prices are on the lower end. One of the few nice... More

We were on our way to another restaurant that was closed when we walked, past the vecchia ciurm a. The waiter had lived in England so spoke great English and the place was full of locals. Has amazing mixed seafood antipasti and I had calcium co while my husband had cod livornese. Delicious!

It was the best restaurant in Italy so far! Very kind, delicious wine and finger licking food. A restaurant for your bucketlist!

Found just for a chance, I have had for 30 € a great Cacciucco alla Livornese, a bottle of excellent red wine, and chopped fruits with ice cream. For sure not so cheap, but the food was absolutely worthy

We were actually on our way to a restaurant down the street which was recommended. They happened to be on vacation. So we doubled back to this little gold mine. 6 of us with nothing to do this afternoon but spend some time together to laugh, catch up, drink, and eat. We were greeted outside the restaurant by a young... More

Traditional restaurant and wine bar in central Livorno, Tuscany, Italy, famous for its "cacciuco", a generous portion of mixed seafood served with a tasteful and very particular sauce. Add a regional wine and the special coffee "ponce" in the end ... and then go for a walk by the sea. Perfect place for a party reunion. I have to go... More
