This is a convenient restaurant as it is situated on the main Via Fillungo. We have now eaten twice at the Pizzeria. The welcome on both occasions was warm and friendly. The Resturant on both occasions was being used by locals as well as visitors. They gave ample time to make a choice from the menu. The pizzas were fresh... More

...in Lucca. Authentic early 1950s design. Simple set up but great tasting pizza. Happily go there again

This is a great place to have a pizza. You can sit or take it away. The prices are really good and the pizza tastes awesome. The staff does not speak a great English but you can communicate with them really easy. If I'll be in Luca definitely this is a place on my list!

Go get a "ricaricata" which is a pizza with double mozzarella. Every Lucchese person knows exactly what this is. Tourists do not. This is very typical of the city. You cannot book a table.

Sbragia offers really well endowed individual and larger pizzas done in a wood fired oven. They also have one or two types of pizza bythe slice as well as calzones--oh, and draft beer. This is my favorite pizza place for lunch in Lucca. Extremely centrally located, it is a great place to take the load off and have a nice... More

My daughter and I are in Lucca for 3 months. We've bene to this pizzeria 4-5 times as my daughter loves it. For the last 2 times one of the owners has been incredibly rude to us - mocking our Italian, mocking that we have elected to take away a half eaten pizza in a doggy bag and mocked our... More

The pizza here is to die for. If you're brave, go for a calzone, though beware it's pretty big! Also try the cecina which is an alternative to pizza, made from chickpeas. Delicious!!

.Recommended by a local. They have been making pizza in this location for a very long time and the current owners - same family - have almost a century of experience between them - they know what they are doing and they are a pleasure to talk to. The pizza is very good, the surroundings are comfortable with interesting pictures... More
