Loved everything, food: fantastic, wine service: amazing, service: great. We weren't rushed through our meal, nor it didn't take forever to get our meals.

If you're not inclined toward tasting menus and wine pairings, you might be better off eating somewhere more traditional in San Gimignano. But for the rest of us shameful food snobs, this place is definitely Michelin Star quality. The lunch tasting menu is both bold and daring (there was a ramen dish when we came here), and the sommelier was... More

We are regular visitors to Cum Quibus and never cease to be amazed at the creativity of the chef. He combines ingredients and flavours that result in the most amazing taste sensations. The courses are smaller than average but pack a punch with their flavour and you will be served with a number of complementary taster dishes in between courses.... More

We walked in on our last night in San Gimignano without a reservation just as they opened. They said they had room for one party of 2 and they were not exaggerating...the place was packed only 30-60 minutes later. We chose the most affordable tasting menu €60/person and snagged a bottle of 2011 Poggio di Sotto Rosso for a VERY... More

I was recommended to this restaurant by someone who had eaten there a few years back and it was "sold" to me as a restaurant of traditional Italian fare. Well nothing could have been further from traditional about this place which led me to believe that either the restaurant has gone through a cuisine style change or that the chef... More

Ok - if you want fresh pasta or something traditional - that is what there are a million trattorias and osterias for. Go to Cum Quibus if you want a truly awesome food experience. The man next to us kept laughing after every night because it was the 'best food he has had in his life.' I believe it. It... More

The food is amazing, every dish is so special in its flavor and its presentation. They take Italian food which is already good and give it a new kick. We were given 2 extra welcome dishes on the house before the first course which was a very nice and tasty touch. 3 primi, 1 secondi, 2 glasses of wine and... More

Having heard so much about this place, I thought I needed to go. And I wasn't disappointed. The food is OUTSTANDING! First quality ingredients, beautiful presentation and very professional and kind staff. My appetizer was the mezzovo, the egg with Pienza sheep milk cheese fondue and shaved white truffle ... to die for. I tasted my husband's gnocchi filled with... More
