This pizzeria offers great pizzas. The crust is quite dry (more than other pizzas in Italy), but the rich toppings compensate for it, and makes the pizza very good. The house wine is good and big glasses (0.2L plastic cups) are served. Friendly owners and very clean bathroom.

We came here because we were looking for good value and something quick and simple. Everything was served in plastic including wine, salad and pasta. Pasta was OK, but salad straight out of a bag emptied into a plastic container. In actual fact, for the price paid and quality of food we got, it wasn't good value at all.

Off the main high street away from the hustle and bustle! Great pizza, nice and thin and crispy! And lots of choice...something for everyone! Reasonably priced wine and beer for a change! Would we return....Most definately! Very friendly service.

We were in a group of 3 and for 12 Euros each we got 6 fantastic plates to share between the 3 of us. 3 intro dishes of pastas and soups, followed by the second dish of pizza, salami, and salad. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. For 5 Euros we got half a liter... More

We were attracted to this restaurant as they said they made fresh pizza dough every day and it sounded like good old fashioned home cooking. It is a no frills restaurant but the food was fantastic as was the warmth and friendliness of the host and staff (host's son?). We had the most amazing pizzas with a house red which... More

We were in San Gimignano for an afternoon and had a quick lunch here. The food was simple, but very good. A nice place if you don't want to step into tourist-traps and have a good, cheap and quick meal. I had pappardelle (pasta) with boar meat which were delicious and a selection of local hams, salamis and cheese. Everything... More

The food is incredibly inexpensive and amazingly good. Quaint, cozy ambience. Best value of a meal on our entire 3-week Italy trip. Big menu. All food made by the owner, an unassuming woman who speaks almost no English. We had great service from her daughter-in-law, who speaks excellent English, and had a lovely conversation with her. Then we met two... More
