We had great pizzas at Tia Loca. The service was always friendly and efficient. Good price, good wine and good beer.

If you're not close to the town center or don't want to be, this is the perfect place to go to. Went there twice for dinner. Probably the best pizze in town!

We went to Tia Loca because it's supposed to be one of the best pizzerias in Siena. Most pizzerias in Italy now offer gluten free pizzas so we didn't even check in advance. Hence the disappointment upon arrival; no gluten free pizza. Our party of 7 enjoyed the pizzas. The crust is delicious. The gluten intolerant person ordered the grilled... More

Locals flock to this excellent pizzeria. It is best to reserve a table, since the place fills quickly. It is also a noisy space , so best for small groups, or try to get a table outside in the summer.

the staff was very nice, the desert tiramisu lovely, the rest - the spaghetti carbonara and my vegetarian pizza a bit flat for our taste, the Parmesan was not aromatous enough, but in the other hand they put on the pizza all the additions i asked for without an extra charge, and the prices are decent.

We didn't have a good experience here. The food was'nt expensive at all, but tasted like nothing special. We could've used salt, pepper and olive oil but were afraid to ask the waitress because she was so rude. One of the two waitresses seemed nice, but she didn't speak a word of English. The other one spoke English fluently, but... More

If you like pizza made in the Naples style (deep pan/ thick crust) they make a great pizza here. It is always busy because this is one of the few such places in Siena. Being from the UK, i have to say i do prefer the thin base pizza but I would recommend the tia loca pizza be tried as... More

We were very tired and we weren't looking for any place fancy, so this pizzeria was a nice find, the pizzas were very good as it should be expected in Italy. The location was interesting too, since it was away from all the crowds and the tourist traps.

This restaurant is just outside the city walls, so accessible both on foot and by car. When we arrived, they had our reserved table ready but due to a misunderstanding among the waitresses, our table was given to another couple. The waitresses handled this very well in extremely crowded (there's always a line outside the door here on a Saturday)... More
