We had a fantastic night at this lovely little restaurant in Siena. We chose a selection of vegetarian dishes for the first course and then pasta for the second. The food was delicious and the service was great. We finished off with the biscotti and...More

Best food, value and fun evening yet in Italy. The antipasto was so filling, and modified with scrumptious vegetables for me, I could have stopped there. My husband loved the cold meats. Then came pasta dishes, one with meat, one with asparagus. Cheap but delicious...More

I'm just not able to explain how this place surprised me! Just few tables and a very friendly atmosphere, the autentic italian tradition of the 50s I can't wait to come back!

A medium sized room with three tables and a few chairs don't make a restaurant. Some cold appetizers (sardines, potato salad, hard boiled eggs, octopus salad) salami, cheese and one pasta, none of them very good. But you will eat you food sharing the table...More

It s a simple place where you can have simple plates in relatively cheap prices. The cook and the waiter are perfect but the food is medium (we had cold plate and pici pasta with anchovies ) and the red wine is a "NO". Low...More

Friendly, easy-going atmosphere, fresh food, excellent price ratio. They serve platters of ham and cheese and have different vegetables. I'd recommend the cheackpea salad with mozzarella and herrings. Another must is the "finocchiona di cinta senese"!

We loved this place. It is small and there are few choices. But the food is excellent and it was so cheap! The antipasti was fantastic and the pasta was also supergood.

Fantastic experience. Restaurant full of locals, we wanted to eat in a place used by locals so as to have an authentic experience. They were very busy, but welcoming. Food simple but tasty.

We ate here three times in two weeks after stumbling upon it on our fourth night and we've stayed longer we would have been back. This Osteria claims to be the oldest in Siena and there is an article from the Times on the wall...More

Hi again, i was there yesterday, reservation is possible only for dinner, for lunch not. There are quite a few tables, so you shouldn't have problem to either get one or wait for a 15 minutes. Btw food is still good :)
