Authentic cuisine away from the crowds with delicious food, drinks and deserts with the locals. The place is small and perfect for lunch after strolling around in this beautiful city. It does not resemble a tourist trap and it's not one. Good prices and super tasty with dishes you might have not tried before. If I knew earlier I would... More

Very bad service. The menu was written in handwriting and Italian, but no help for us tourist. We had the feeling of not being welcome in the restaurant. Food ok, but nothing special

An amazing find in Siena. I went with my instinct as in Siena all the other restaurants were completely empty in the town and I appreciate it is spring time and low season. Nona Gina is a wonderful Osteria and the menu is quite limited in terms of selection, but there is an array of dishes to suit most people.... More

Family atmosphere, like eating at home! We ordered gnocchi with the secret green sauce (creamy pesto?), gnocchetti, and risotto with squash. Quick & efficient service, generous portions, and everything was absolutely delicious. We would definitely return to this restaurant.

Small non-touristy restaurant with excellent food and compimentary grappa or amoretto after your meal. Very dog friendly.

This local spot was a short walk from our Hotel Athena. A quaint osteria mixed with locals and tourists. We heard of the gnocchi from reviews and I do believe it was the best gnocchi I have ever had. The presentation was a bit lacking with a single color and no garnish but the taste was wonderful. My wife had... More

This was a lively lovely meal. It is a little place and the tables are close together. Lots of atmosphere. We started with the charcuterie dish for 2 which was enormous and very tasty. Then the gnocchi. This is the best gnocchi I have had anywhere . Stuffed full of cheese and with an amazing source. The lamb to follow... More

Possibly the best and most complete meal we had in Tuscany! We had four different kinds of pasta, all excellent, great vino di casa, fantastic tiramisu and the final touch, delicious homemade amaretto as a treat. Buonissimo!

We wanted to celebrate successful meeting in Siena University. We felt really welcome to the restaurant. We had anti-antipasti, antipasti, primi, secondi, dolci, etc. We felt really welcomed. I recommend.
