We came here at about 7:30--we knew, early for Italian dinner, but we were tired from the 40+ temperatures and hiking up and down hills all day. The waiter had only us, another table (a couple with a small child), and then a little later...More

This may of been our best meal while in Italy for two weeks. Very quite, not crowed, mostly locals eating. Every thing we tried was just great. Would have eaten here every night, if we could have.

Menu was complete, offering many choices, and the pasta was excellent. Our wine selection was good too. It was a quiet night and so the four of us enjoyed our meals.

Traveling with a tour group, a handful of us wandered down a side lane in Assisi in search of Medioevo based on TripAdvisor reviews. One couldn't ask for more atmosphere--the heavy stone Roman arches create a feeling of being a world away. We tried a...More

Medioevo is under new management and is a lovely dining room, but there are some concerns. The menu ala carte is medium priced and some meat dishes very tasty and not typical of the standard Umbrian restaurant. We enjoyed the steak with sangrantino wine sauce....More

Good local food in a fantastic setting. Service is good and owners very friendly. Worth booking as it does get busy on times. Closed one day a week.

After entering through a rather obscure entrance, our group was made welcome in the large dining room. There was nothing obscure about the food however. We had bruschetta with ripe tomatoes, and pasta to start. The main course was a flaming pork roast. I also...More

The meet was undercooked so we sent it back to the kitchen, and it returned very overcooked. Strange plating with half a potato, a steak, and one shriveled lettuce leaf with brown spots.

Dining above the Roman ruins, which you can see through the glass floor as you enter the restaurant sets the stage for this restaurants dining atomsphere. With an excellent choice of Italian favorites, served professionally, and with music in the background it makes for a...More

If you have a group of 6 or 8 or more, you should definitely come here. This is a world class restaurant that seems to cater to high end groups. Many large tables - many rounds - fitting 6 or more. We were in a...More

The Medio Evo restaurant is a special location with vaults of medieval times, the 700/800 made with the pink stone of Assisi, rich in architectural elements of the I and III century AC, from the Roman period a few steps from Piazza the Municipality.

A careful search for raw materials, all fresh, seasonal, local products KM.Zero and national high quality and the experience and passion of William for good food, come wisely revisited dishes that rediscover the Umbrian tradition and that make up menus that change from time to time depending on the period.
