This restaurant is down an alleyway which is beautifully picturesque at night. The food is excellent, the wine superb (and reasonably priced) and staff friendly and efficient.

We stopped in Assisi on our journey from Rome to Florence. We got there late for lunch and found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. It was getting close to their afternoon closing time, but they accepted our group of 10. They were very nice and accommodating. The restaurant is very quaint on an adorable quiet alley. The food was a... More

We visited Assisi in December of 2015 - spent a day in town but meals we on our own outside the tour group. Did not want to eat at the tourists traps right in the Piazza De commune or Temple Minerva areas we travelled up hill and happened on a small table at the front of an Alley. The alley... More

A great looking Osteria tucked down a small laneway in Assisi. A large selection of local and Italian wines are on offer and a dinner menu that had something for everyone in our party of 5 adults. They also have a set menu with the choice of 3 starters and 3 mains. The staff was very friendly and the meals... More

We first went for lunch and had a passible salad. Returning for dinner the mood was set by a darkened ally set with church candle lanterns making the outside tables inviting. Our first course was a salad Caprese which comprised unripe tomatoes and dry, unappetising mozzarella. Not good. The main course was a vegetarian lasagne which again was dry and... More

We wanted a place with real Italian food outside of the huge crowds of tourists in Assisi. I am glad we found this place. Service was friendly and food was very good. Not he cheapest place, but not bad for what we got. We had a nice bottle of Montefalco wine, mineral water, pork filet in gravy, and strangozzi with... More

We stumbled upon this place. It's not on any main walkways. (Although you walk past it if you follow Rick Stevens Assisi guided walk of the City) the food was amazing. Taste buds exploding with enjoyment. (sorry a little over dramatic but true) hope to come back again.
