Good quality food with acceptable price: good value for money and very friendly service. The ambiance - simple local style. For good or bad, the wine list focuses on local Geneva options. Choucroute seemed to be one of popular choices. For desert do not miss meringue double-creme Gruyère.

a group of us went for lunch as we had heard that "la chasse" was delicious. We were not disappointed. actually, we were more than impressed with the "menu chasse" consisting of a terrine de sanglier with small salad and chutney followed by medaillons de chevreuil and all the trimmings and a desert in the chasse tradition. Large servings, The... More

Too bad I went there on my last night in Geneva, or I would have gone again and again. Delicious food, friendly and attentive staff. If you like good food, and don't appreciate pretension, this is the place for you.

I have eaten twice here (on 2 special occasions) and was blown away both times by the quality and passion put into every aspect of every dish here. Not just the main feature of the dish, but every side offered (homemade spatzle, roasted brussel sprouts, sweet red cabbage, roasted local squash, glazed chestnuts, etc...). Local, seasonal offerings always and everything... More

Alas, the 2016 asparagus season is drawing to an end. What better place to have one final go than Chez Casa in Avusy. In a convivial environment, sumptuous serving of asparagus are served, with or without raw ham from the Grisons. The desserts are equally sumptuous and complete a delicious meal, accompanied by good wines. With asparagus now disappearing on... More

If you are a lover of a game meat, this is the place to eat! Meat and sauce are exquisite, sides are tasty, all is nicely served. Chef is very friendly and happy to share some secrets of his cuisine.

This country-side restaurant has rightfully built up a strong reputation throughout the year, but especially during the "game" season - Chef Yves Casanova has this year turned 400 kilos of bones into 40 litres of game sauce and serves a delicious terrine of wild boar, and two iconic game dishes: civet de chevreuil and médaillons de chevreuil. Reservations a must.... More

This is one of my favorite restaurant in the countryside Geneva. I've been many times "Chez Casa" and the food was always excellent. The menu changes every season. One of my favorite would be in fall. You can eat one of the best "chasse" !! Delicious !! Cosy inside in the winter, welcoming outside in the summer . You should... More

Having recently moved into the village and speaking very little French everything is a challenge, including a trip to the local restaurant. However the welcome at Cafe d'Avusy and patience with my poor grasp of the language put me and my guests at ease. The cafe is intimate and homely although busy enough that a reservation is recommended. The food... More
