The waiter didn't serve us immediately, we waited for 10mins, finally he came to us and complained we said nothing! It should be the waiter approached to the customers but here is different. He didn't even let me pass first when I met him near the restroom.

Save your money and stay after you take the nice outside picture. It seems staff do not care about customer experience. Waiters are rude when speaking and interacting not only with me and my wife, but with other families dining outside. My wife is Hong Kong Chinese and it appears when they see Asians there poor service gets worse! Food... More

The meal was average but we took the cheapest possible fondue just to taste it when in Switzerland. For a cheap one it was good and filling. The place is very nice, paintings on the building mysterious and eye-catching. The service was very good.

Our guide recommended this place for reasonably priced traditional Swiss food, and she was correct. (Reasonably priced is a relative term here in Lucerne.) We had cheese fondue, smoked trout, and farmer sausages, with large beers and a few glasses of wine, tab came to 199 Swiss Francs. Quality of food, location, staff all very good. Mural on exterior is... More

That evening we went searching for a restaurant for dinner in the old town and found the Fritschi – a traditional small place in a square tucked away from the crowds (or so we thought). Their specialty was fondues (yuk). But we had a fine bratwurst in gravy with grated potato which was terrific. The wine was not bad either.... More

I have been in this restaurant during a business travel. This restaurant is very nice, inside an historical building in Lucerne. Of course, we have tried a very typical würstel with roesti and onion soup. It was very good, with a cold weiss beer.

We stopped by here when we were bar hopping in Lucerne. This was definitely one of our favorite stops. It's just a simple, cozy atmosphere and great spot to grab some beers. Wish we would have stayed to try the food since we were disappointed elsewhere, but we won't make that mistake again. The service here was the best of... More

I saw many reviews, regarding the price, but those people have no idea about the Swiss price structure. Pricing is absolutely fine for Switzerland.

We wanted to eat typical Swiss food, my wife particularly wanting Raclette. We couldn't find many places that serve it in Lucerne other than here. The staff are lovely and friendly and I had soup which was lovely and tasty, but my wife's Raclette was expensive and disappointing. Whilst we have had it before, this was simply 4 x small... More

This place has character outside & inside the building. Servers spoke good English & were very attentive. We tried the Fondue as a group & I ordered the specialty of Luzern which is veal w/mushroom sauce and potatoes, I cannot pronounce the actual dish nor can I spell it, but it was delicious. We had fun and food was good!
