Part of a great family-owned and -run hotel, the Mandarin offers a refreshing change of food from the rest of St Moritz. Well cooked genuine Chinese dishes, excellent friendly service and a cosy atmosphere make for a delightful evening. Highly recommended.

One evening we decided to have Asian food for dinner. We called up the restaurant and booked a table for 9. On reaching there we found the table well laid and all that we ordered was of a good quality, good size helping too.

After more than a week of travelling around the Italian part of Switzerland andarriving at St. Moritz, it was pleasant to find a Chinese restaurant right in the centre of town! This was a welcome change for us asians, and the food didn't let us down. Even though the menu was not huge, but still pretty adequate. We liked the... More

Having lived in China for several years myself - what a surprise to find a truly authentic Chinese restaurant in St. Moritz! Their Chinese Chef adds a "special personal touch" to his dishes and makes one feel like set back in time and place. Pre-order in advance some speciality dishes - you won't be disappointed..!

We visited the le Mandarin just two days ago. It was all disappointing. The Beef Sezhuan was just beef fried to death until no meat was left. Instead of being spicy it was sweet and not only we complaint, also people on other tables were complaining. The excuse was, that others like it. Ordered something else but also this was... More

A welcome break from overloading on Swiss food. We are not great fans of Chinese food but this was a Pleasant restaurant, with reserved but helpful staff, prompt Sevice and pretty tasty food. Location is fairly central. We didn't try the beef dish recommended in earlier management responses to reviews. We had the sour and spicy soup- good- shredded beef... More

Fed up with fondue and raclette? Fancy something spicy? Then this is not a bad option, it's probably your only option in this swanky ski resort. The food is decent, prices not silly but not a Chinese meal you will remember. Pleasant service. Drink jasmine tea.

We went to Le Mandarin on the 47th night of our European journey, so we'd eaten at many different establishments offering many kinds of food, but this was the best we'd had. Enrico who is one of the long serving waiters in St. Moritz provides a very reliable service and pays a lot of attention to his guests. Very good Chinese food of stable quality over the years and always a nice place to go for lunch or dinner.
